Very interesting #POBPhotocontest this week and contest topic is BUILDINGS. So, I chose to discuss about Sangni Fort, is a fort of Sikh Period located in Gojar khan area. The fort was built in (1799–1849). This fort was built to control the area and to tax collection. The fort lost its importance in British era and abandoned it. The nearby shrine of Sahibzada Abdul Hakeem moved to this fort.

This fort is very small and is mainly used as a rest area or checkpoint. Still, the fort is in good condition, and the walls are intact. The Sangni Fort was built at the junction of two small rivers. This is a very historic place that is still in good shape.
