We haven dealing on some series of topics from the Mass Indoctrination program that have been going on for a while now, if you are a member of this community and you are not joining, you are not doing yourself good, come and learn the doctrines of Christ.
I was privileged to participate in the program via zoom, like I always say distance is not a barrier, I have been impacted a lot by the teachings of the doctrines of Christ.
Important lesson learned from today's teaching
In today's teaching Bro Eli talked about why gathering as Christians is very important.
Hebrews 10:24-25, Matthew 26:41, James 2:1, 1Corinthians 11:22, 2John 1:12, Acts 20:7, Job 38:7, Revelation 5:9, Hebrew 13:15, 1Samuel 16:23.
Gatherings is very important as Christians. We are expected to gather in the house of God every first day of the week so we can share fellowship with one another.
Whenever we gather it should be to provoke and help our fellow brethren to continue doing their good works, this is the time to share love among ourselves. They say all fingers are not equal, when we gather in the house of God let us look out for those who are poor and not doing well, help them. We are not expected to intimidate people in the house of God, but to support one another, let the ones who have give to those does not have, let the strong help the weak, by doing this we will all grow in the faith.
One of the major reasons saints gather is to learn the doctrines of God. Nowadays you find so many fake pastors and prophets organizing gatherings just to collect people's money, that is very wrong, don't fall victim of such evil doers. We are to remind ourselves the commandments and doctrines of God and to always obey it whenever we meet.
Another thing we do when we meet is to sing praises to God. Some sing for man and woman but as true Christian we should always sing for God because he is a lover of praises, that's is why the Angels sing praises to him in Heaven. No matter how bad our voice is we can't still sing to God, he is not like man that condemns, he just want you to praise him. For those that are gifted in speaking in tongues should also do so when they gather. This are some of the things we do during our gatherings as Christians.
