We visited a farm where different ornamental plants and fruit trees abounded, ranging from mango, coconut, orange and plum trees, the latter were the ones that caught my attention because their fruits showed a contrast between health and disease.

It turns out that the plum trees were being infected by some kind of pest that was causing the plums to be damaged even though they were still attached to the plant. I don't know what kind of pest it is, I have no knowledge about it, but the caretakers of the farm explained to us that we could not consume the plums. At first I thought it was the little birds that had wreaked havoc on the fruit, but on closer inspection I could see that the plums were already damaged.

Quiero compartir con todos unas imágenes que capté en un paseo familiar hace unas semanas.

Visitamos una finca en la que abundaban diferentes plantas ornamentales y árboles frutales que iban desde mangos, cocoteros, naranjos, hasta ciruelos, estos últimos fueron los que llamaron mi atención porque sus frutos lucían un contraste entre la salud y la enfermedad.

Se podían observar ciruelas en buen estado y otras algo marchitas.

Resulta que los árboles de ciruelo estaban presentando infección por algún tipo de plaga que hacía que las ciruelas se dañaran aún estando pegadas a la planta. No sé qué tipo de plaga es, no tengo conocimiento al respecto, pero los cuidadores de la finca nos explicaron que no podíamos consumir las ciruelas. Al principio creí que eran los pajaritos quiénes habían causado estragos en los frutos, pero al ver de cerca pude observar que las ciruelas estaban ya dañadas.

Una mezcla entre ciruelas sanas y ciruelas enfermas. Tomamos el consejo que nos dieron y no tocamos ninguna ciruela.
