I can probably find best post on a 2nd layer tool thing like hivestats right?
I simply don't remember right now... But i also have a history of sporadic bursts of unpredictable activity.

Hivestats would be an interesting topic.

My best post is a compilation of resources in Spanish on the use of Ecency. I have received quite a few messages of thanks for it and I know that it has helped new users who have arrived at Hive. The link:

https://ecency.com/hive-125126/@palomap3/biblioteca-de-recursos-ecency-en

It's a great idea to make a collection of links where people can find the ressources that they need.

My best post is yet to come and that's because there's always room for improvement.

Looking forward to it ;-)

This is an interesting topic or question for the week. As much as I would like to say all my posts are my best, the thought alone made me shake my head, lol! Maybe one day, I'll be able to write something that I would be so proud of 😊

Maybe one day, I'll be able to write something that I would be so proud of 😊

I think we don't necessarily need to creat masterpieces to be proud of what we do :-).

Hehe, that's true though. Thank you for reminding :)

Good morning! I usually try to make an interesting and incredible post, but we always have those special posts, for me this was one that made me think a lot:

https://peakd.com/hive-153850/@kaibagt/what-if-you-could-relive-just-one-moment-from-the-past-en-pt-br

Thanks a lot for sharing!

I have not posted in years. I don't think there's any really good posts that I have made actually. I was just trying to use this like I use instagram. The highest paying post should be considered my best post? :)

Last year I did a post on @risingstargame which I think did a good job of summarising the tokens in the game, I want to get back to writing about more hive games

peakd.com/hive-195370/@doombot75/rising-star-following-the-money-2q6

Sharing experience about the games we play can help people quite well. There are always people who are less advanced than us in the game and they can learn useful stuff.

I generally like all the posts I've made here on #Hive, but my best was probably the deep dive I did on Hive NFTs a while back (RIGHT HERE)... but I really need to get back to it. It's been a while.

!PIMP !BBH !hiqvote

That's an interesting post. The NFT side on hive isn't really easy to discover since it doesn't really have a place where you can find out about it.

It hasn't really caught on either... we should probably create a few decent use-cases for them, or at least encourage people to get creative.

Thanks for engaging! 🙌

There is always room for improvement but in the end we can be proud of all our work :-)

I once had a post that earned me the Daily Top Payout badge. Funny thing is, that wasn’t even my best post! If we’re talking about the "best," I’d say it was my second post on HIVE that truly deserves the title. Why? Because my very first post was worth a grand total of... $0.000! 😅 Honestly, that almost made me give up on HIVE entirely. But thankfully, I pushed through and wrote a second post. And the result? Boom! $9.5 USD from the votes I received. That was the moment that reignited my passion for writing, and since then, my journey on HIVE has been unstoppable

I'm happy you had some nice return on the 2nd post. Otherwise motivation would probably diffcult to make you go on :-). The early hive days are tough for most of us :-)

Looking back, I think one of my best post or perhaps best creation, was sharing a self written story on Hive. It was something that I wrote out of interest last time and I didn't share much to people because I wasn't sure if it was good enough. When I joined Hive, I realised that it was a good platform to share my writings with like minded people, and I was glad that there were people who enjoyed reading it.

This was the final chapter: https://peakd.com/hive-199275/@relf87/the-legend-of-doria-chapter-52-final-chapter

The whole series can be found here: https://peakd.com/created/thelegendofdoria

You did a great job writing a whole story with so many chapters. I had started to write a fiction story as well but I've never finished it...

Thanks! Can do it at your own pace! :)

What was the best post that you have created and why?

My favorite posts to write are the history lessons around paper currency, how the "terms" have changed over the decades painting a clear picture of the swindle. !BBH

That should be interesting :-)

That question is difficult to answer. Who am I to say which is my best post even if there has been any that can be qualified as best post, hehe. But what I do have are my favorite posts. Some time ago I said which were my three favorites for a Three Challenge community challenge in this post
https://peakd.com/hive-100848/@coquicoin/my-three-favourite-posts-challenge-and-june-pud

It's not easy to auto evaluate ourselves but I think each post generates a different degree of self-apreciation :-)

I have just recently started back posting on a consistent basis. I like crating a wide range of topics for my posts, some get good reception others not so much. Sometimes the amount of rewards you receive is not directly tied to the quality you believe your post is worth. So "Best Post" can be very subjective.

This post is sharing about the free points that ecency users can receive on a daily basis.

https://peakd.com/hive-155221/@darmst5339/ecency-gives-away-free-points

In this post you are sharing your knowledge and you definitely give added value to other people.

My best post so far should be my Tibet travel series on World Map Pin. Thoroughly enjoyed myself there and also glad to share my adventure with the community.

https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@vaynard86/journeying-into-tibet-part-3-yamdrok-yumtso-lake-and-shigatse

This is a great post with lovely pictures.

And we remember this contribution to the #WorldMapPin community fondly @vaynard86 it was a beautiful trip you shared through your series to Tibet. We hope soon you'll continue to sharing your adventures in the community with us so your personal map will fill up with pins and memories!

Yes, I will definitely be sharing more really soon! Glad to be able to have a platform to share my trips.

😘☀️

Well, I find it hard to choose just one post as the best, I think I've done a lot of really cool ones, but there's one I did a while ago that I liked because it was to help the community as a whole, but also to help people who were just arriving in the Brazilian community (@hive-br) so many didn't even know that hive-vote existed.

With this tutorial I think I helped a lot of people strengthen our curation trail!

https://peakd.com/hive-127515/@shiftrox/tutorial-hivevote-configurar-voto-automatico

It's interesting to see that many people think they did a good job when they explained something in detail. I believe that when we do that, we create real value for the ones reading our posts.

I agree with you, although I need to update some posts, it's been a while since I did a tutorial or something 😄

That autovote thing was really difficult to understand at first...

Yes, that's why I made this post, it's a little article, but it was something that struck me because I later used it to teach people how to start following the hive-br trail.

Top! 👍

I have many posts that I am proud to have created, but of the last few, I think the one for Christmas Eve was very special.

Nice, thanks a lot for sharing!

What a great question.
I think the way we are rewarded sometimes curbs our creative flair.
I love my picture stories with the animals, as I do craft stories to match real pictures I take.
These are quite taxing but rarely were rewarded.
Whereas now some posts are rewarded and aren't my best creations.
I am going to say Are you READY for CROWNREND the New HIVE game because I don't really play games on or off Hive and this was a bit of fun writing the post as I joined up and played.
It turned into my biggest rewarded post too.
So who says what is our best post?

When new games come out, it's always a great idea to share your experience for the ones who started later.

Oh this is a very difficult question, this may not sound so very well, but I'm usually very proud of the posts I write, they come straight out of my heart. However I think my introduction, the first post I made, gave me a chance to experience a different narrative form and I think it was a very good start.

There are other posts that have been more rewarding or that allowed me to learn and exchange experiences, but personally they have been a little easier to write compared to that first time:

https://peakd.com/hive-110011/@ninaeatshere/introduce-myself-ninaeatshere-hello-and-welcome-spaeng

It's very interesting that you have chosen your introductory post. You put in a lot of efforts into this one :-)

Best post... So far, if I look at the upvote value, this post would be the best:

https://ecency.com/hive-155221/@cursephantom/end-of-event-farewell-lunch

but I think this is more like "the best from the reader's viewpoint" 🤔. This is about how exciting the last day of "Juragan Goes to Jogja" was. An unforgettable experience and learning a lot from other Digital Resellers.

After a quick scroll, I think this post is the best of all of my posts:
https://ecency.com/hive-155221/@cursephantom/comic-frontier-19-sunday-november

My usual theme of posts are:

  • Food
  • Friends
  • My Hobby
  • Interesting Events
  • Nature

That post fulfills 4 out of 5 themes in one post which are Food (Ichiro Ramen), Friends (Gathering in CF19 and dinner), My Hobby (Anime, Manga/Comics, and Cosplay), and Interesting Events (Comifuro 19). Tell people about something that I love is the best post for me. I hope someday I can fulfill all of those 5 themes in one post. It will be perfect 😍.

The posts that get the highest upvotes are not always the ones that we think are our best ones :-)

Usually the best posts are the ones that not much people read it hehe. I consider the best posts the ones that I start and end with fluency in topics that I enjoy discussing with anyone that knocks my door. One example of a recent one was a post that I talked about the premises that many people brings that cancer is easy to cure but there is no interest in curing it. I debunked it since I worked in this area for a long time and I know the struggles and that curiosity about the disease that mad me work a during years on it.

https://peakd.com/hive-163521/@gwajnberg/some-thoughts-about-the-universal-cancer-vaccine-promise-and-about-cancer-treatment-lnm

That's an interesting choice!

I think some of my best posts have been some recent short stories I've written for the Freewriters community - https://peakd.com/c/hive-161155/created

I am writing a new long short story for the Hive Pizza community - https://peakd.com/c/hive-185582/created that I hope will be my best post yet.

It's great you write fiction :-)

this is a difficult question to answer because generally the best post is decided by the readers
If I have to choose the first post that comes to mind that I hope was helpful because I tried to explain liquidity pools and impermanent loss as simply as possible, it is this one: https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@libertycrypto27/holozing-focus-on-zingswaphive-liquidity-pool-impermanent-loss-explanation-and-examples-my-lp-investment-analysis-engita

That's a very interesting topic and quite difficult to explain in a manner that stays understandable for people who are not familiar with LP's.

This topic is very interesting, because it made me think how important it is to make posts that really contribute to the Hive community. Most of my posts are about my life and my opinion on something.
In the sense of contributing to something, one post I really enjoyed writing was a series of posts on how to monetize Splinterlands, back when the game was more profitable.

It's interesting to see that people often chose a post where they manage to give added value to other people!

I like this mission! I looked for one of my posts that earned over $5 in upvotes, received a few comments, and was one where I was able to combine topics. In the end, I chose this one about a mimosa tree in blossom on a back road in the outskirts of Hiroshima. That enabled me to talk about the Japanese poet, Matsuo Basho, who mentioned Mimosa blossoms in one of his haiku:
https://hive.blog/hive-147010/@hirohurl/mimosa-blossom-on-the-narrow-road-to-my-morning-class

Nice choice. Thanks for sharing!

It's hard to pinpoint a few, but I really liked my game reviews that I did over a year ago. It was part 1 of 2 of that review and it was probably because it was about my favorite game series Kiseki (also known as trials).

https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@jfang003/my-review-of-trails-into-reverie

I don't know this game. You did a good job about it!

This year i haven't yet done my best post. Laat year, i don't think i can call any of my posts as best work but did try to add variety.
I guess, i am down on creativity for sometime. Some topic does spur my mind.

It's not always easy to come up with topics that we are motivated to write about.

Honestly it's hard to say which post I can say my best. But I can say that my favorite posts about travelings as example it was series posts about my trip to Germany. Here link to one of them
https://peakd.com/travel/@travoved/my-trip-to-germany-berlin-part-1
Or my Gardening posts
https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@travoved/my-april-garden-update
If to talk in general not so important how long and how much I'll get from this posts but more important that I try to put my feelings, life or soul to posts which are important for me!
And maybe my best post is not written yet, and I'll write it in the future!

These are two nice examples of great posts. Thanks for sharing!

A difficult question to answer. As we know, the posts we are most proud of rarely get the most recognition in terms of upvotes. I would consider a great metric for how good a post was the number of comments it received (maybe compared to your average), unless it was especially crafted to attract comments, like by provoking drama.

People have told me they find my Week through Adrian's Lenses useful for staying up to date with what's going on on Hive. But recently, I guess this post (which had an outward component in it - I shared it on X - one of my few posts over there) generated a reasonable number of comments (and upvotes).

That's an intersting post. I'm on of the people who like to read your Adran's LEnses posts to keep up to date :-)

So how do you choose just one out of all the posts?
It's like asking a parent which of their five young children they love the most 🤣

I love traveling and somehow the posts I published with pictures from those trips are my favorite. Looking at the pictures again, I remember those wonderful moments 🙂
But my posts usually don't have a large number of comments, which means that I'm still not engaged enough, but it's a matter of lack of time.
Maybe I'll fix that, so I can reach more people with my posts.

So, the vast majority of the posts I published on my worldmappin.com map were published there to stay forever on BC and to come back to whenever I want to remember those moments.

Since in my Hive beginnings, I didn't ask enough questions about how Hive works, a lot of posts were left without tags, so it's hard to find them now, I have to scroll a lot in the past.
One of them is this one, which is not on my map, so I would like to mention it
https://peakd.com/someeofficial/@duskobgd/a-historical-one-the-most

It was created on a trip from Sarajevo to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in addition to being related to the great battle in World War II, it also has pictures of the beautiful Neretva River, as well as weapon settings.

That's a very interesting post that you have chosen. Thanks for sharing!

It would be very vain of me to say that I prefer others to evaluate it. I like investment tracking.

Fair enough :-)

I would like to share the Best Post of this Year, cause I've already posted some...

My pick will be: The Sandbox - Attack on Titan Event, because it combines two things that I really like anime, because Attack on Titan for those who don't know is a pretty popular anime and also a Web3 Game, because this event will give SAND tokens for free for all players that complete the requeriments. For that they'll need to help the protagonists in a quests inside the metaverse that has a map just like the anime.

Shinzou Sasageyo! ⚔️

https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@rimurutempest/the-sandbox-or-attack-on

I think one of the best posts I've ever done was a tutorial on how to create a Hive account and make your first post. I tried to do this in great detail, with step-by-step screenshots to make it as didactic as possible. I explained how to make the introductory post, showed a bit about the existing fronts and how they fit together, talked about the use of tags to be used correctly, about the second layer tokens and also gave an overview of the communities.

The post was a bit long, so I only wrote it in Portuguese, because the intention was to use it for onboarding Brazilians, and having another part in English could make things confusing. But anyway, this post is pinned to my Twitter (X) so that, perhaps, someone who visits my profile can have access to this information and get started in this universe.

https://inleo.io/@michupa/como-criar-sua-conta-na-hive

That's probably the best and most appropriate answer!
So...
untitled.gif
Would it be easy to translate to Spanish then?

I could edit it and add translations to this post in Spanish and also in English, I think it could help more people.

Yes, further expanding upon even your initial reach and intent! 🌏
