Buen día mi querido grupo de padres, vuelvo por aquí para nutrir el grupo con una idea para realizar en casa o en la escuela que los niños realmente adorarán y aprenderán muchísimo haciendo. Este proyecto científico fue realizado en la escuelita dónde doy clases.
Good morning my dear group of parents, I come back here to nurture the group with an idea to do at home or at school that the children will really love and learn a lot by doing. This science project was done at the little school where I teach.
El proyecto científico fue realizado referente a volcanes, quisimos darle está información por la explosión volcánica reciente que tuvo lugar en el océano en Tonga.
Lo primero que hicimos fue colocarles un cine explicativo de los volcanes y allí con muchísimos dibujos y sonidos ellos entendieron y estuvieron entretenidos sabiendo lo que íbamos a realizar.
The scientific project was about volcanoes, we wanted to give them this information because of the recent volcanic explosion that took place in the ocean in Tonga.
The first thing we did was to show them a movie explaining volcanoes and there with lots of drawings and sounds they understood and were entertained knowing what we were going to do.
Luego los ubicamos en mesas y cada uno de ellos tuvo un cuadro de cartón donde las maestras le colocamos arcilla para que ellos con sus propias manos hicieran la forma de cono de un volcán, con su vegetación en superficie. Eso realmente les encanta, ensuciarse las manos.
Then we placed them at tables and each one of them had a cardboard box where the teachers put clay so that they could make the shape of a volcano cone with their own hands, with its vegetation on the surface. They really love that, getting their hands dirty.
Una vez todos terminaron de esculpir su obra volcánica, los llevamos al patio de la escuelita para ponerlos a secar, poniéndole nombre a cada uno de sus trabajos.
Once everyone had finished sculpting their volcanic work, we took them to the schoolyard to dry them, naming each of their works.
Lo siguiente fue en nuestro salón, ubicamos una mesa grande y amplia de trabajo, ya las maestras previo al día habíamos realizado un volcán grande con toda su funcionalidad para demostrarles a los niños su estructura y erupción en vivo.
Next, in our classroom, we set up a large and spacious work table, and the teachers had already made a large volcano with all its functionality to show the children its structure and live eruption.
Les explicamos cómo haríamos una lava artificial para erupcionar nuestro volcán con los ingredientes químicos: vinagre, jabón líquido, colorante rojo y bicarbonato de sodio.We explained how we would make an artificial lava to erupt our volcano with the chemical ingredients: vinegar, liquid soap, red dye and baking soda.
Una vez ya incorporados el jabón líquido, el bicarbonato de sodio y el colorante, por último añadimos el vínagre y nuestro volcán comenzó a escupir lava, ellos se asombraron muchísimo, hicieron muchísimas preguntas dónde aprovechamos de repasar lo que vieron en el vídeo.
Once the liquid soap, baking soda and colorant were incorporated, finally we added the vinager and our volcano began to spit lava, they were very surprised, they asked lots of questions where we took the opportunity to review what they saw in the video.
Todos los niños querían tocar la lava para ver si estaba caliente o fría, querían agregar los compuestos químicos, se imaginaban como sería un volcán cerca de comunidades. Y así les contamos el suceso ocurrido en Tonga este 15 de enero de 2022.
All the children wanted to touch the lava to see if it was hot or cold, they wanted to add the chemical compounds, they imagined what a volcano near communities would be like. And so we tell you about the event in Tonga on January 15, 2022.
