Greetings vegetarian friends, one of the things that identifies us in my country is the arepa, this time I bring you some Andean arepas, which are widely made in Mérida, these have the particularity that they are made of vegetables such as zucchini and carrots. I tell you that the original recipe for these arepas is only with wheat flour and salt. I remember that I used to prepare them a lot when precooked cornmeal was not available in my country. Well here I show you this preparation that is the first time that I made it with vegetables, and I accompanied it with a pico de gallo.

Saludos amigos vegetariano, una de las cosas que nos identifica a mi país es la arepa, en esta oportunidad les traigo unas arepas andinas, que son muy realizadas en Mérida, estás tiene la particular de que son de vegetales como calabacín y zanahoria. Les cuento que la receta original de estás arepas es solo con harina de trigo y sal. Recuerdo que las preparaba mucho cuando en mi país no se conseguía la harina de maíz precocida. Bueno aquí te muestro esta preparación que es primera vez que la realizó con vegetales, y la acompañe con un pico de gallo .

Ingredients

100 grams of Zucchini
50 grams of Carrot
Cilantro
Salt
Pepper
50 ml of water

100 gramos de Calabacín
50 gramos de Zanahoria

Make a pico de gallo with tomato, onion, coriander, oregano leaves, vinegar, oil, and salt.
