Hello guys,
I hope you all are doing well.
Today I will share my visit to “Daman-e-Koh”, which is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. This place's name is in Persian, meaning “ The lap of the mountains” or “ The center of the mountains”. The reason being called this is because mountains surround the place and there are mountains all over the place surrounding it.
When we entered the place, there was a welcoming board that welcomed us to the place.
Upon walking a few steps there was this beautiful view of mountains and there were so many people who were there to visit this place too.
The sun was setting in the beautiful mountains, it was so wholesome to watch it.
The uniqueness of the place is that there are hundreds of monkeys there. You can find so many monkeys, moving here and there. Some monkeys even snatch the food and eat it.
I found a cute little monkey sitting on the high building top and eating bananas 😭.
There were also culturally decorated horses and camels who offered rides to the people and children. The helper is along with them to facilitate children during their rides as the rides are in the mountains so require safety.
My brother and cousin also insisted on taking a horse ride so they went on that.
Other than rides there were other sources of entertainment too. Such as music, art, and food.
This man was sitting on the place and playing cultural music on his guitar, it was so mesmerizing.
There were also some shops with beautiful aesthetics, all cultural and all unique.
I just loved the vibe of this shop so much and was unable to decide, what to buy and what not to.
However, there were a lot of food options too and a lot of people were buying stuff and roaming about enjoying the food.
I was craving for french fries so I had them for me and my sister.
The combination of fresh french fries and the mountains in a cloudy was all that I needed.
However, then we moved to the top view of the place from where the whole city could be seen. It was such a beautiful seen and the top view was refreshing. The pressure of the wind was so high over there.
The view was amazing and I loved to visit this place and would recommend anyone to visit it and enjoy the vibe.
And then we headed towards the home.
