The only thing that I like about summers is mangoes 😭 and since the season was going to end I decided to make the mango delight for the one last time to farewell mangoes untill next time 🌸.
Let me share the recipe with you guys too.
Ingredients:
Mangoes 🥭
Biscuits 🍪
Caramel 🟤
Cream 🥛
Nuts 🥜
Recipe:
The recipe starts by adding a crushed layer of biscuits on the surface if the dish.
After making a smooth layer of biscuits on the bottom of the dish the next step is to make three types of fillings.
The first one is mango purée obviously, for this we have to blend the mangoes in the blender.
After making the mango purée, I layered the little amount in the zig zag pattern on the dish with the layers of biscuits.
Then the next filling that I made was of whipping cream, for this purpose I whipped the cream.
After whipping the cream I layered that on the dish too.
After adding the whipping cream, I made the final filling which was cramel.
For this, I added a cup of sugar and a cup of water in the pan and started boiling them.
After a time the sugar was caramalised and started turning brown in color.
For a perfectly formed caramel, we have to stir in continuously and should dissolve every lumps in it until it is smooth.
Then I added a little of milk and cream in it to convert the caramel into butterscotch.
It turned out smooth.
Then I layered the caramel on the dish too.
Also added some nuts to guve it a crunchy taste.
Then it was time to add mangoes along with the butterscotch sauce.
And then, I repeated the layerings by redoing it for two to three times. Added the large chunks of manges in it too, decorated the top with the caramel and nuts.
It looked so delicious.
Then I refrigerated it until it was chilled and afterwards I served it to the family.
Enjoyed every bite of it. It was super yummy, very mangoish ofcourse and so rich with flavor.
