Hello Splinterlands Summoners! Another guild brawl has finished and I'm here to share how we did in the latest brawl, Gladius Case purchase and upgrading my Gladiator cards.
Performance and Rewards
I had better results compared to our last brawl contributing five wins out of nine. We each earned around 5200 Merits and 68 SPS while our guild was in rank four earning one hundred crowns. As a result, our Focus Lodge was upgraded to level 8 giving us more Glint bonus.
Gladius Case
I have over seven thousand Merits which was enough to buy three Gladius Cases. Each case contain five cards with one card Rare or higher. This will give me fifteen additional cards to my deck and may allow me to upgrade some of my cards in my collection.
I'm not lucky this time as there was no epics nor legendaries in the cards. I only got four rare cards.
Gladiator Card Upgrades
On a positive note, although there are no epic or legendary cards, I was able to upgrade three cards in my collection.
Katrelba Gobson is upgraded to level 5. She gains a fourth ability, Snare making her an effective counter against Flying units.
Whistling Damon was also upgraded to level 5 gaining the Piercing ability. On the other hand, he only has two ranged damage so the Piercing ability won't be that optimal.
Alfredo is a rare card that was upgraded to level 4. He only gains one additional health to add to his stats.
Favorite Battle
My favorite battle has the Noxious Fumes ruleset. I employ my usual team that I find most effective in this ruleset. I usually field the Light Splinter with Imperial Knight as tank and Luceheim Demon with his Cleanse ability at the back. I would usually have Adelaide Brightwing in the team because of her Repair and Immunity abilities but this battle also has the Rise of the Commons ruleset so she is not available. For my Gladiator card of choice, I picked Captain Katie who is one of the best rare Gladiator cards.
Thank you for dropping by and see you in the next brawl!
