Last night, around past 12 midnight, I stepped out of my bedroom. As soon as I got out, I stopped because I was curious about the shadow I saw on the wall.
Maybe I had seen it before, but since I hadn't paid attention to shadows before, I didn't notice that there was a shadow being cast there.
The shadow I'm talking about is my shadow. Hahaha! I saw three shadows of myself when I stepped out of the room. I immediately went back to the room because I didn't have a camera with me. I grabbed my phone and went out again.
This is the original picture I took, where I adjusted the camera brightness a little to make the slightly faded shadow in the center more visible.
I'm not sure if you can see the three shadows, so I edited a few images and adjusted the brightness to make my shadows stand out more.
First, I analyzed why there were three shadows of me. I noticed that one shadow came from the light that was on at the end of the hallway behind me, and another shadow came from the light outside the window.
Before, whenever I passed through the hallway, all the lights in the hallway were on, or maybe it was bright enough because daylight entered that hallway, so I didn't notice the shadows.
It was difficult for me to take a picture of my shadow because I couldn't capture all the shadows if I just took a regular photo. To capture them, it was like I had to take a selfie with my shadow.
Maybe the reason why there were many shadows is because it coincidentally happened that the shadows were at the corner of the wall, meaning two walls were casting the shadows.
There were only two possible sources of light, so I don't know why there were three shadows. Hahaha!!!
If you're also fascinated by the shadows you see in the world, join the Shadow Hunters Community and share those shadows as well.
