This week I brought a battle, where I was able to use the maximum amount of mana as a ruleset and I think my lineup consist the most amount of mana cost monsters I ever played. My monsters and Summoner costed me 84 mana out of the 99 mana cap battle, which is absolutely insane. Let's see is it worth to use the most expensive monsters together in a battle! š
Hope you will enjoy the battle like I did! š
Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Are You Not Entertained? | You can summon one additional Gladiator card. |
Deflection Field | All units have the Reflection Shield ability. |
The mana cap was 99, which is the maximum you can get in the game for a battle. It allows the use of any strategy, because you are entitled to use the highest mana cost monsters all together in one team.
On top of that the Are You Not Entertained? ruleset will also let you choose a Gladiator monster for this battle even though this is not a Brawl battle. The Gladiator cards has a very interesting ability, which is the Bloodlust, which means if they kill their target they will increase their own stats by one permanently until the battle last. šŖ
The Deflection Field is quite good ruleset, because it will give the Reflection Shield ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, so they won't take any damage against the Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns or the Return Fire abilities. š
Byzantine Kitty
The Byzantine Kitty is an Untamed Summoner and such she is quite powerful. Her main abilities are to increase the Speed of all of her friendly monsters by two, which will make her monsters to attack first and the dodge more incoming attacks. She also gives the True Strike ability to his monsters, which will allows her monsters to hit their target at a 100% chance, but her most important ability is that she is able to Heal the first monster in her team at the beginning of every round. š
Arkemis the Bear
Arkemis the Bear is an excellent tank especially if I use Agor Longtail at the back of my team to divert some of the attacks hitting Arkemis directly. He has a lot of Health and quite good Melee attack damage, but more importantly he has the Protect ability, which will give +2 Armor to all of his friendly mosnters as long as he is alive. š
Lord Thalanor
Lord Thalanor is one of my favorite monster, because he has quite a lot of Magic damage and lot of Health, which will makes him an amazing damage dealer for this battle. š
Runemancer Florre
Runemancer Florre cost 13 mana, which is quite a lot and she is one of the best monster available in the 99 mana cap ruleset, because she has two different attacks and a lot of health. She is able to attack with both of her attack type, which makes her an excellent damage dealer and she will always hit her target with her Ranged attack, because she is fast and has the True Strike ability. š
Rage
Rage is an absolute beast in the whole game, because he cost 16 mana, which is the highest amongst all the other monsters, but in return he has a lot of Health and Armor on its own. He also has the Flying ability, which will give him extra defense and also the Void ability to protect himself against the enemy Magic attacks if it comes to that. šŖ
Runic Skyclaw
The Runic Skyclaw is a Ranged attack monster with a lot of Speed and damage. She is also able to Fly and dodge even more attacks that she would using her Speed. She has the Snipe ability as well, which means that she will target the first Ranged, Magic or monsters without any attack no matter where are they in the lineup. š
Agor Longtail
Agor Longtail is a very expensive monster with his 15 mana cost, but luckily I do not need to worry about that. Thanks to his mana cost he is pretty strong and even though he can not use his Melee attack from his position he also has Magic attack as well, which is amazing. He is able to Fly, which will gives him some extra chance to dodge the enemy attacks and also has the Taunt ability to soak up all the insoming attacks from the enemy team. š
My opponent brought the Obsidian as a Summoner, because she wanted to deal as much Magic damage as possible using an Earth Splinter. She will give +1 Magic attack to all of her friendly monsters. š
Thanks to Kitty all of my monsters were quicker than my opponent monsters and they immediately started attacking their Terraceous Hulk, because that monster has the Taunt ability like my Agor, so in the first round he took some serious hit, but managed to stay alive.
In the second round my team quickly killed him and they started focusing the other Taunt monster my opponent brought, which was the Mycelic Slipspawn. Luckily our dmaage was enough to kill her as well and sadly my Agor also lost his life during his duty protecting his backline and his tank. š
In the third round all of our damage was needed to eliminate their Mycalic Infantry as their tank and they almost killed my Arkemis with their Magic damage.
At hte beginning of the fourth round Kitty healed him up little bit and thanks to the huge Speed difference my team killed two of their monster before they were able to attack.
It was easy to kill his last monster who couldn't do much alone and against my very mana heavy lineup. š
