The Day Has Come To Tidy Up The Garden

in #hive-14063511 months ago

Very good afternoon everyone, I hope you are very well, we are already enjoying the third day of this new 2024. As some of you already know I am a plant lover I have a small garden with which I have also made a small venture.

Christmas took me a little bit away from cleaning and maintenance but now it is time to get down to work. In the past holidays many of my mother plants gave me the opportunity to give away and trade some of them. Then it was time to work on organizing them, cleaning them and thanking them for their kindness.

Although a great heat wave had been forecast for this part of the world, which affected them a lot, they were also favored with a few scattered raindrops that fell one or another day during December, despite the heat they seemed to come back to life, there is no doubt that rainwater is magical for gardens.

Today is the day to begin to eliminate weeds, clean the counter where the smallest plants are located, clear the larger plants of the children and thus be able to reproduce more of them and be able to offer them to customers. Taking care of a garden and of each plant is a hard work because of the pests that attack them, but it leaves a great satisfaction to see them grow healthy and beautiful.

I am quite new in the world of ornamental gardening, just a year learning about cacti, succulents and indoor and outdoor plants, which I have enjoyed very much although I am aware that I still have a long way to go and learn more every day. Fighting drought, too much rain, the evil crickets that eat the plants, the cottony bug, which is a terrible pest are some of the things I have learned here in my little garden.

Dedicating hours to my garden has brought me many benefits, not only new knowledge but it has taught me patience, to fight stress and to enjoy a full relaxation and good mood while I take care of them and talk to them that although they don't answer me with words, they show me their gratitude and kindness in each flower, in their good growth and more.

I will also show you here some of the mini decorated gardens as well as the combined arrangements I have made in some pots with plants such as Zamioculcas zamiifolia, different cactus and aloe vera and sansevieria.

I also took the opportunity to remove children of the mother plants and replant in other pots to grow them better and have several plants of the same species with which I can make different arrangements or mini gardens, these are highly sought after by those people who do not have large spaces to have a garden but love nature and bring a little natural green to their favorite spaces homes, offices, jobs etc..
