Where can you roam in Spiti Valley?
Chandratal Lake This is the most beautiful lake of Spiti Valley. This lake is situated at an altitude of 14100 feet. Chandratal Lake is a perfect place for trekking lover tourist. Here you can also do camping and enjoy bone fire, this place is only in June. And opens only in the month of July, the rest of the month it is covered with snow.
Key Monastry This is a very famous Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Lahaul-Spiti district, which is located at an altitude of about 4166 meters above sea level. This monastery is about 700 years old, so it is also very popular among tourists.
Apart from these, there are many other tourist places like Kinnaur, Chitkul, Kalpa, Kaza etc.

How to reach Spiti Valley
There are two ways to reach Spiti Valley
The first one goes from Manali to Rohtang Pass to Spiti Valley via Chandratal Lake and Kunjung Pass, here the distance from Manali to Spiti Valley is about 178 kilometers, this road remains closed for 6 months due to heavy snowfall in winter.
The same other route reaches Spiti Valley from Shimla via Narkanda Sangla Nako and Kaza, here the distance from Shimla to Kaza is about 420 km, this road is also quite long, except for some time this route is open throughout the year.
The main town in Lahaul is named Keelung and the commercial hub of Spiti is named Kaza.
If your driving experience is good on the mountain, then you should come here with your personal vehicle or you can also rent a bike but you should rent a bike with heavy cc engine.
