"Sir, it's been three days since the lighthouse lights didn't turn on, it's a little difficult for us to dock if the lighthouse lights go out," said an old fisherman complaining to the port officer.

"A technician will be arriving in a moment to work on the lighthouse lights, don't worry." Answered a port official.

Shortly thereafter, a car came into the harbour, it was a technician who would deal with the lighthouse's light that had gone out. The technician's name was Joko. He is a technician who can deal damage to anything, including lighthouse lights.

"Thank God you have arrived, let me take you to our lighthouse," said the port official.

"Thank you very much, you are very friendly" replied the technician.

Joko brought his bag containing complete equipment to handle lighthouse lights. As he climbed the steps of the lighthouse, Joko felt bad. The hairs on his neck became goosebumps. Joko did not know why it could be like that. Arriving at the top, Joko's body stiffened, his legs trembled, and his eyes widened at what was in front of him. Joko screamed and ran down the stairs.

"Hey, what's wrong?" asked a port official.

Joko didn't answer his question, he ran to his car and left the place. The officer who suspected him went to the top of the lighthouse, to check what was going on up there. Upon arriving at the top, the port officer almost cried seeing the figure of a long-haired woman with a scary pale face. It was the figure of a female ghost who was above the lighthouse. Instantly, the officers ran away in great fear.

Seeing the harbour officials running scared, the old fisherman was amazed. "Hey mister, what's wrong? Why are you running?" asked the old fisherman.

"It's so terrible, I saw a ghostly figure above the lighthouse." The harbour official replied with a scared expression while pointing towards the lighthouse.

"Really? So, who's going to handle the lighthouse lights?" Asked the old fisherman who was also scared because he heard the story from the harbour official.

"I will look for a technician who is not afraid of ghosts, wait a few more days" replied the port officer.

On the same day, a woman riding a motorbike came to a village near the harbour. The woman's name is Maya, she is also an electrical technician in the city where she lives. But the purpose of coming to the village wasn't to deal with the lighthouse's light that had gone out. But to visit her grandparents who live in the village. Her grandfather was a fisherman in that village.

"Maya, you're coming. How are you?" asked Grandfather.

"I'm fine, how about you Grandpa?" Ask Maya.

"It's been three days, I haven't been looking for fish because the lighthouse lights don't turn on" Grandpa replied in a low voice.

"Isn't anyone able to handle it?" Ask Maya.

"Not nobody, but no one dared" Grandpa replied.

"Don't dare? What are they afraid of?"

"Above the lighthouse, there is a female ghost with a scary face. A technician saw her when he was going to work on the lighthouse's lights," Grandfather told her in detail.

But Maya is not afraid, she doesn't believe in ghosts. "Take me to the lighthouse, let me handle it" Maya answered firmly.

Grandfather took Maya to the port, where there was also an officer. They head for the lighthouse, but Grandpa and the officer wait below. They did not dare to go up because there was a female ghost waiting. With full confidence and courage, Maya started to climb the lighthouse stairs. Upon entering the lighthouse, Maya felt a different aura. There was a slight uneasiness in her, but Maya ignored it and continued on her way.

Arriving at the top of the lighthouse, Maya was surprised to see a scary figure in front of her. A ghost of a woman with long flowing hair and a face that looks scary is standing in front of her. Maya felt her adrenaline rising, her legs shaking slightly, but she was able to fight her fear.

"What do you want from me?" asked Maya in a firm voice.

“I am a wandering spirit,” the female ghost answered in a hoarse voice filled with sorrow.

Maya tried to calm down and said, "I don't believe in ghost stories. However, if there's anything I can help you with, please tell me."

The female ghost explained in a trembling voice, “When I was alive, I was cruelly killed and my corpse was hidden in a wooden box nearby. I was caught between this world and the next, I need your help to find my body and have it properly buried.”

Maya paused and saw the ghost woman's face filled with suffering. Despite the fear, Maya feels compelled to help the female ghost.

"Okay, I promise I will find your body which may have become bones," said Maya. "However, I need to complete my task of repairing the lighthouse lights first."

After tell with the female ghost for a while, Maya starts repairing the broken lighthouse light in front of the female ghost. With her persistence and expertise, Maya managed to fix the lamp and it turned on again.

After finishing repairing the lighthouse lights, Maya told the port officer what the female ghost wanted. The harbour official invites the villagers to help find the body of the ghost of the woman who was killed, and her suffering ends. Together, they explored the lighthouse and finally found a wooden box under a big tree. They opened the wooden box and found the bones of the ghost of the woman who was killed. With proper honours, they buried her in the village cemetery. After that, the female ghost never appeared again. Now the lighthouse can return to normal operations, providing safe directions for fishermen and ship crews crossing these waters.
