Borneo Jazz Festival is back this year. I had an opportunity to just walk around and record the area surrounding. It is a yearly event where International Jazz singers come here to sing. However, due to the pandemic, it has stopped for two years but it's back. I did not buy any ticket to the concerts due to business. Lots of stuff to do if not I would have gotten a ticket to watch the concert. Anyways, this is what the place looks like.

Tropical feeling
Coconut leaves. This is the entrance. There are many food stalls here as well as other stalls that sell clothes and other local products.
Santinos Pizza
A very popular place to eat pizza.
Starbucks and their temporary stall
I passed by with my GoPro and the staff were very welcoming.
Do you like Starbucks? A great place to have an ice cold coffee before watching any shows here.
A local tattoo artist
Who specialises in tribal art.
Tattoo here is done in the traditional way
Tapping the ink into the skin instead of machining it.
A coffee hut
A great place to chill and have a great time enjoying the day. Coco Cabana is next to the sapphire South China Sea. While your here, you can enjoy watching vessels come into Miri and out. As well as enjoy the sound waves of the ocean currents.

Some sand on the beach
Some sand left. There is a huge seahorse lighthouse here too. The top part used to be publicly accessible but now it is access denied.
Locally made t shirts.
The wooden house behind is actually made in the early 2000s and is kept that way to have that tropical feeling.
I guess these are beautiful. It depends on how you see it. =) Anyone who wears these shirts are really hip. I guess, that person has that fun personality.

At night was when everything becomes lively. I did not want to be there at night without a ticket. The traffic jam was going to be intense. With lots of people.

These stalls indirectly benefit from the event. Usually, weekends are already crowded. Imagine weekends and Borneo Jazz Festival combined.
