Tuesday. 5th April 2022. I flew over Curtin University with my drone a while ago. This is where I graduated in Finance and Management. It's where @gigihii03 is studying at the moment. It's great to see Curtin expanding. @yingfrances and I used to study here as coursemates. There are international students who study here too from countries like China, Zimbabwe, Bahrain and etc. Many locals Sarawakians and Bruneians love to study here as the degree is internationally recognised.
Curtin University is from Australia and ranks 194th in the world. Students can choose to study in Perth, Australia for the last year of their degree.

Curtin from above
There are engineering, business and It courses to pursue here. This university is very near the Brunei border.
The main campus block
It has been expanding to accommodate the ever growing number of students that come here to study. The design of Curtin Miri follows very closely to the Perth campus which is a lot bigger.

Many Sarawakians usually head to the UK or Australia to study as their preferred choice and some to Harvard university.
Lots of green
This campus is far from the main city. Lots of greens and a huge lake. I used to run a lot in the campus whenever I was free.
It is a different view up in the sky.
New buildings
New sections of the campus are added year by year.

The round section from the ground. When I studied here, this wasn't here yet. I spent a lot of time in the library here studying and doing group studies. I always advise the younger generation nowadays to study hard and get into university or college.
Residential area
This area itself is now huge. Before Curtin was built here, this used to be all green with no houses at all.
The road outside of the campus and somewhere in the infinite horizon is Brunei.
Two huge lakes here. Crocodiles have been spotted here but I've never seen one.
