Ranau roadside market

This is one of the best places to eat Durians. The Durians here usually are sold for a reasonable price. This market is near Ranau town. I explored Ranau town and was on my way back to Kundasang, another town that is around half an hour's drive from here.

Woo.. Lots of Durians in the basket. I was looking for some affordable durians. This is a little market that you can just drive by and get some fruits and head to the next destination.

So many Durians to choose from.

Where should I begin? I was here for those Durians that were already opened. I did not have my knife. Some of the sellers here sell Durians that have already been opened.

Durians are heavenly

Does anyone want some bananas or Rambutans?

A couple of bananas and rambutans. Some mangosteen.

After some searching, it was time to get a box of Durian.

RM 10 for this box of durian.

Bought this too. Amazing quality at such an affordable price. The best durians are soft and chewy. Do they smell aromatic? The answer is yes. I am a durian lover and to me, Durians smell like flowers. One of those fruits that you have to try in your lifetime.

These are quite affordable prices.

These durians are big. Some of these durians are from Sarawak.

Sarawak is where I came from.

Usually, this market normally caters to the locals more than tourists.

Many other stalls here.

You won't miss this market if you're driving to Ranau town from Kundasang.
