It is Tuesday. A wonderful day today with beautiful bright skies. Yesterday was a bleak. Unhappiness in the sky. It rained all day for more than 20 hours straight. No joke. 20 hours straight. It started around 12 am Monday and lasted all the way till yesterday night which was Monday 12 am and not sure when it stopped cause I slept before it stopped.
My wife loves Calamari. Hot fried calamari. It's crunchy, chewy, savory and the spicy level isn't that high.
FRIED CALAMARI
It was a busy day on a holiday for T4. I waited close to an hour before I could get my food. Nowadays, food and beverage businesses have gotten a lot more challenging with waitress and waiters having to serve both in shop and delivery customers.
An army of tea baristas.
This is one of the earliest shops in the city selling bobba milk tea. At a point in time, Miri had a slight decline in demand. But then all of a sudden, it has suddenly picked up these couple of years. Maybe due to the increase choices of drinks instead of just serving bobba related drinks.
T4
A franchisee from Taiwan. The menu has a huge variety of selection. I wonder how the baristas remember all these combination. Just joking. It's tea sommelier. Tea sommelier must have had been well trained.
T4 stands for TEA FOR U
Used to be only one shop lot but have expanded to two due to surging demand.
Avery and her friend.
Huge Stella soft plushy accompanies baby Avery for the day.
My wife @janicetan
My partner in crime. We are always searching for new places to explore to try out.
Ambience
It's all about Ambience. Even Dennis loves coming here. Wooden laminated floors and tables give it that home feeling. Other than that, it's the warm yellowish lights.
Full house
The whole place was filled up. But luckily, the spaces in between each seating was wide enough and aircon cold enough to ensure that everyone was still feeling comfortable enough to be in a crowded space.
My wife, Baby Avery and Stella
Our new friend, Stella.
My order was #912 and it was 902 but it was not updated for an hour.
Despite the fast speed, the tea sommeliers weren't able to keep up. I saw the frustration in their faces as well as the customers.
Our receipt
Total paid: RM 27.80 / USD 6.35 for two drinks and fried calamari.
Goods sold are non refundable. Why? Why would anyone refund a drink?
Avery saying Hi. She just turned 3.
Little one has been a lot of places with me and my wife. She loves exploring more than playing the smartphone.
Stella posing
Stella is sitting there waiting for her bobba drink.
I went to the counter and looked at what they were preparing.
So many drinks. I saw some customers here ordering bags of it. Hot cakes going out the store. How do they remember which order was which?
Finally. Almost an hour of waiting.
- Panda Milk Tea - small bobbas and milk tea (my wife ordered that)
- Peppermint milk tea - I ordered that
- Fried Calamari - My wife ordered that
A refreshing cup of Peppermint milk tea. I usually have no bobba. I don't like to keep chewing on them. Takes a lot of work.
Panda Milk Tea
My wife ordered this. One of her favourite. Does it look like a panda?

Use those bamboo sticks and poke them. Poke them hard and place them into my mouth. Sounds wrong.
My wife is delighted with the food.
Sadly, the calamari was cold. Usually, it's hot. Too many customers.
The other section of T4
Full house. No wonder, the number of Ford Mustang's are increasing in the city. Those cost RM 400 K / USD 91 K in Miri. A price of a house.
