Hi hi.. everyone.. I hope that your happy and well today. It is the start of a Monday again. Do you like to eat Sushi? My wife @janicetan and I were craving for Sushi. There is one Sushi restaurant here that is quite popular in Miri. It is Sushi Mentai. The sushi here is affordable and is fixed all year round. A conveyor belt went around in circles carrying sushi and we got ourselves some Sushi. We will usually have sushi once or twice a month.
SUSHI MENTAI
We got ourselves some delicious sushi. The prawn tempura sushi and mayonnaise salmon sushi are the best. Sushi Mentai is near my house. 5 minutes drive.
Bright sun with no rain drops. Pretty great to have a meal.
There were already some customers here eating while we arrived.

The wooden chairs make the restaurant feel a bit like an extended home.

We had around close to 20 plates. We were hungry. If we had a choice, we would have eaten the plates too. Just joking.
The conveyor belt and the sushi
Lots and lots of sushi travelled around this conveyor belt. Food being in front of you constantly is something hard to resist. I was defeated by my own addiction to sushi. The sweet spot for both of us usually is near 20 plates. We just can go above that. My stomach says no.
Prawn mayo sushi
I am just pretty poor and knowing the names of food at times. I usually just look at something and eat it as long as it looks edible and smells good. There wasn't much aroma but compensating that was their heavenly taste. I have never gone to heaven but I guess, that's what heaven taste like.
Raw sashimi on rice
I usually get plenty of this. Not to be eaten at an overload or else it would start to taste slightly... meh.. just six or seven plates would be good enough.
Cheddar cheese sushi
This is one of my favourite sushi. The cheese taste creamy and then there is the crispy bits inside which when I bite crunches. Yummy.

These sushis have deviated from what the original Sushi would be like in Tokyo. These are Malaysian infused sushi specially designed for the palettes of the land of Hornbills. Hope that you have a great day ahead. If you do come to Miri, do try the sushi at Sushi Mentai. Each plate cost an average of USD 80 cents. So it doesn't break the bank at all. There is a new sushi restaurant that is to open soon here in Miri called Papa sushi. haha.. What a unique name. But why?
