The 10th floor

in #hive-1413592 years ago

Hi It is me @luueetang. It is a beautiful Sunday. I hope that your having a great day. Do you like the view at the top? I am going to bring you on a walking tour of the view from the top floor of Miri city council building. The view of the South China Sea pounding onto the shores of Miri. This is where all the planning of the city takes place.

Do check out my latest YouTube channel and watch the tour.

MIRI CITY COUNCIL

The 10th floor at the observation deck. The public usually is allowed access here at 5 pm onwards. This is the first time up here ever since it finished construction somewhere last year. The first thing you would notice when you see this building is that it resembles an oil barrel and a huge stainless steel seahorse structure can be seen. Sea Horse is the mascot of Miri city.

My wife and baby Avery enjoying their time up here on the tenth floor of the Miri City council building.

Glistering sun shines as it slowly descends. The majestic South China Sea in view from up here. Quite calming to look at the ocean waves.

The Miri city council building

Stainless steel seahorse that is ten storeys tall. I guess, if planes flew by here, this building's seahorse would be easily spotted from the sky.

The elevator up

This lift up is fully air conditioned and cold.

The view of the coast of Miri and the condominiums can be seen from here.

The sky in beautiful shades of blue and whites.

Miri City Central park

One of the parks of the city here. Miri is a green city with lots of greens.

My wife's hair blown by the wind

Baby Avery fortunately isn't afraid of heights. She even danced while she was here.

It's great to be so high up here.

This is one of the best things to do in life. Exploring and watching the skies.

Miri's main city

Miri's skyline is expanding. The number of tall buildings are increasing. In a decade, I am sure that this skyline is going to be a lot more different.

A city by the Sea

No matter where you go around Miri, you won't be too far away from the South China Sea.

The water waves coming into the shore pounding on the sandy beaches.

The rippling effect from the waves. No surfers here.

The sun light

Reflection can be seen from the Sea like a glowing orb.

The best thing is that it isn't crowded

We got here and had this observation deck to ourselves. The architecture of this building is amazing. This is going to be an must visit place for any tourist that come to Miri. No ticket fees. It is free.

Hope that you enjoy watching my video. Thank you for reading this post. Really appreciate it. Have a great Sunday. Do enjoy your day and hope that your happy.

Avery is so brave. I on the other hand, am afraid of heights. Bila di tempat tinggi, mesti gayat 😅😅

Splendid view bro. With such weather makes it even better for the outing.

Miri is so green. It's so good to see cities that keep lots of trees and parks. And to have the sea right there would make it such a desirable place to live.
