Hello everyone,
So this is part 2 of our visit to the glitzy Las Vegas, that penultimate destination for dazzling hotels, luxurious casinos, and world-class shows. If you didn't have a chance to read Part 1 please go here.
STROLLING ALONG THE STRIP
We waited for sundown to walk along Las Vegas Blvd called The Strip, and began our stroll on the sidewalk along with the always present crowd of merrymakers and gamblers.
Went in and out of the hotel lobbies admiring each distinct design and attraction.
In the middle of Forum Shops in Caesars Palace is a wonderful fountain with sculptures of Roman mythological gods and goddesses. The ceiling imitates a blue sky with scattered clouds and is made more beautiful by special lighting effects.
LOVE a beautiful art installation in the waterfall atrium at the Venetian Hotel, created by artist Laura Kimpton spelled in steel Ruby red letters.
DINNER AND A FREE SHOW
Las Vegas is home not only to gorgeous hotels but also to restaurants with different cuisines. There are buffets and more fancy dining options.
For our dinner, we chose the Lakeside located at Wynn Hotel. This is one of the 2 restaurants where you can watch the Lake of Dreams Show. We reserved a seat by the patio and had a nice view of the show while dining. Just a little bit pricey but worth the memory.
HELLO ARIA
On the following day, we moved to Aria Hotel. The spectacular view of its exterior, reflecting on the glass walls the blue sky and white clouds.
Is as awesome as the flickering lights in the night.
Checking Out The Lobby Before Checking-in
The main lobby and all over the property are decorated with golden and big multi-colored bubbles which looked so exquisite.
The Room
The room with floor-to-ceiling windows gave a stunning view of the city. It has a one-touch control system. Utmost comfort and modern technology.
We don’t really gamble but a Vegas trip is not complete without going to the casino. I just set a certain amount to bet. But before proceeding to the casino we stopped by this large bronze Buddha. It is said that we must rub the Buddha’s belly for good luck, which we did. But maybe, I did it the wrong way, I did not win.
Good night Las Vegas! Tomorrow we bid adieu.
Good morning Las Vegas, so nice to wake up to this awesome sight.
BEFORE WE HIT THE ROAD...BREAKFAST
We had our morning coffee and a hearty breakfast at the poolside patio of Aria's Salt & Ivy.
We had eggs, avocado slices, and toast, piled on with delectable slices of fruits and greens.
Energized, we soon packed our stuff and got ready for that long line of cars crawling back to Cali.
So long Vegas! We'll be back!
Thank you for reading.
