My father used to be a millionaire, but now he's just a regular businessman. Muhammad Moid uz Zafar is my father's name, and he was born on September 2, 1965. He is currently 55 years old. My father has seven siblings, and his family was in financial distress when he was born. As a result, he and his siblings struggled to make ends meet, studying and starting their own businesses, while my father earned a master's degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting, as well as serving in the merchant navy and as a radio officer. However, after he married in 1995, he started his own computer accessory business.
My father worked as a radio officer for the merchant navy and specialized in Morse code. But, as everyone knows, a merchant navy officer is required to leave home for 6 to 12 months for work, and after marriage, my mother would not allow him to do so, so he began his own computer accessory business. His business went well for 15 years until 2010, he made a lot of money and everything was fine; he became the market leader. However, after 2010, he slowed his business because some of his own employees were looting the shop's inventory, and my father didn't want them to succeed, so he fired them and restarted his business from the ground up because those employees had already done a lot of damage to our shop.
Both my father and mother made several sacrifices for us. They sold the gold for money while we were in a financial crisis. He has made numerous sacrifices for us; he was once offered a position in Dubai, but he declined because he must live without us. As far as I can tell, my father has started eating less food so that his children can eat plenty.
From his upbringing to the present, he has endured numerous difficult situations. He still has a lot of difficulties just providing for his children. His parents didn't have a lot of money when he was a kid, so he used to work in the morning and then go to school with his own money in the evening. After finishing his education, his life improved for a while, but as his children grew older, the situation deteriorated again, and I witnessed him crying in front of God. And he faced a lot, but he never lost his patience, and he patiently awaited God's help, as he also advised us to do.
My father possesses many unique characteristics, but the one I love the most and wish to emulate is his work-related dedication and compassion. Even at 55 years old, he puts 110 percent effort into everything he does, and I love that quality. Every day, he awoke early, showered, and dressed as if it were his first day on the job, then went to the shop with vigor, and I aspire to have this skill and quality. As you can see, he used to dress in the same manner back then, with dress pants and a shirt, and he still does now when he left for work which is almost compared to zero.
