Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Happy new week.Hope you all had a splendid weekend. It's been a while since I've posted on this community and today I will be participating in the prompt offered by @ladiesofhive.
2️⃣ What legacy would you like people to remember you after you're gone?
You know sometimes it's important what people really think about you or what they would say about you when you're gone. That's like me saying the impact you've instilled in your society, around people or family really matters. This question "what will I be remembered for when I leave this denomination, position, church, or prolly when I die"? is something one must ask him/herself frequently. Will I be remembered for good or evil?
Logically speaking, only a sensible person would want to be remembered for something positive and good. I mean,which sensible person wants to be remembered for evil?.
Personally,I tend to keep a very good relationship with everyone that I come across. Relationships matter a lot when making an impact. I tend to be kind, loving, although I might not be loved by everyone but I want to be remembered for my kind gestures, embracing and accepting everyone with open arms despite the differences. I want to be remembered for the contribution I would make example rendering services and also financial contributions.
I remember a few years back, in my local church, I was one of the instrumentalists, although I had only begun playing the piano a few months back then. So whenever the main keyboardist/pianist were not available in the service, I would hop on and play the piano for the church. But later on, I got admitted into the University in another state and whenever I would come visiting, some church members would come to me saying things like they miss me and the service I render.
That for sure felt good because even in my absence, I had left a legacy there in the church by filling up that vacuum that was created and that for sure was always remembered.
In conclusion, always remember that the legacy/impact you leave in the society or anywhere you find yourself can be of any form, so whenever you do that, make sure it instills a positive output on the society. You know they say "A good name is better than riches".
