These two tiny pieces of gold and silver were the first of each type of metal that I purchased.
The first two pictures above are showing a 1/100th ounce gold bar produced by the Scottsdale Mint. I recently picked up this tiny little beauty just to dip my toe into the gold pool. This was the first piece of gold that I have so far but hope to be picking up more in the future.
From the size of this gold bar it's obvious that I paid to much for it, but because it's so small it was only a few bucks over what it should have cost. It came sealed up in a plastic sleave, I will be leaving it sealed up so I don't get finger prints all over it.
The next two photo's are of a Valcambi 1 gram silver bar. This was the first silver I purchased quite some time ago now, I think it only cost me shipping to get it. Since I got this little bar I have picked up a lot more silver, mostly in coins but some rounds and a few bars also.
I don't know that I will be stacking much gold in the near future, do to the price, but I will keep on stacking silver every month for as long as I can.
