It's coffee harvest season in Guatemala! And I recently visited a coffee cooperative in San Lucas Toliman in Lake AtitlAn. There we visited the fields where the coffee bushes were full of red cherry beans, ready to pick. We walked among coffee and corn fields. Surrounded by the smell of the lemon trees that also grow. After that we went on to moving coffee that was drying in the patios, previous to it undergoing the "trillado" and roasting process. All this beautifl afternoon ended in coffee tasting prepared using different types of coffee processes such as :washed, honey and natural and also different coffee preparation methods, such as: V60, chemex and so forth. It was an amazing moment we had learning of coffee surrounded by its sights and aroma.
