Why do bloggers fail?

Heck, why does any business fail?

I wonder if blogging is so viable for earning these days as people don't seem so interested in reading long posts. I tended to be put off by those with lots of ads anyway. I did my own blog on my site for years, but it was not really to earn and it didn't get much engagement. I make a lot more and get more responses on Hive. You can stick ads in a Hive post, but I don't see much of that happening.

In the early days some people were making thousands on a post, but the algorithm was different then. Those people could live off what they made. If the $HIVE price got to a few dollars then those days could return, but it needs to grow. I know some will say it's too complicated to use, but thousands manage anyway.

People come here expecting easy money, but you generally have to work for it by building a following and being consistent. I made nothing much in the early days, but I've networked my way up, including getting to events.

Fun times.

You can still make a lot of money from blogging but most people are too impatient and want shortcuts (like automation etc).

Would be nice if Hive got up to the high values it once had, would change the economics of being here by a lot
