This is the first time that I publish in this community, so I greet you, and comment that I find your proposal fascinating and very interesting.

I found out about this initiative by @galenkp through a publication by @enraizar, I really liked it and I decided to participate.

One small step for man and one giant leap for humanity

- Neil Armstrong -

This phrase sums up for me what I consider the essence of Hive. And throughout my 8 years in hive I have approached this adventure without having the slightest idea that I would find myself, that is, sensing that I would have many surprises.

I want to highlight the most important things that motivated me to stay here.

  • The diversity of knowledge and being able to find a variety of opinions and exchange your own with this universe of people and topics. This for someone like me, who is a nerd by nature, is simply a delight.

  • Interact with content that educates me, showing me everything from how to make a digital drawing to how to prepare a delicious recipe (and yes, as a foodie this is exciting for me, who doesn't enjoy some delicious cannoli filled with chocolate and almonds?)

  • Meet and talk with different users: discover those people who are behind each publication, their ideas, their exciting worlds full of urban explorations, photographs, stories, horror stories, Linux programming, exotic recipes, extravagant art creations, etc; I can say whatever I want without fear of being censured is the best.

I approach all being rational, because I am curious, always like to understand how things work, what happens if they are done differently. And hive, allows me to explore that.

And now it gives me the opportunity to reflect on this community, on my life, on whatever I want, and even better, to know the points of view of each of you.

firmanimada1.gifThis is my black cat "manclar", this hive account is to honor his dead (it happened years ago).

The divisor is made by @albiro2050, if you want one made in your style, visit him and he will gladly take care of your commission.

The paintings in this post are by my grandmother Rosa Serfaty and my cousin Vilma Contasti.
Both recognized Venezuelan artists.

Hive has very good attributes, for one who is starting is interesting to find a variety of publications where you can learn from it and interact that is paramount. @manclar I hope to continue advancing in Hive and keep observing from those who have trajectory like you in the ecosystem to improve every day because they are a reference.

That's right my dear, hive is truly very special, it's a whole universe, thank you for contributing your grain of sand to it, because that makes a difference.

Thanks @manclar for the mention; I share everything you say; that is, I am not interested in everything equally, but I do not think that there is knowledge above others, nor more interesting topics than others. Above all, I understand that there are people who are the ones who give interest or take it away from what they publish.

Best regards my friend

In hive it is an unlimited source not only of knowledge, but of people, I am not saying that knowledge prevails over the rest, but for me, let's say that it makes it one of the most attractive parts.

The human factor is also interesting, interacting with them, talking, exploring their ideas and achieving an exchange.

Although to be honest, I prefer to observe trees, it's much more entertaining 😀

The opinions in hive are very solid and with a lot of knowledge, what I hope will increase is that the topics of knowledge will increase, I have searched for things of mathematics, astronomy and it is very little, I also hear very nerdy and I hope this will increase and be a content that becomes constant because I think the quality of the authors gives more than enough for it 😀

There is a lot of variety, for example there are these communities:

STEMGeeks - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (very active currently)

MES Science - The only place for true scientific exploration.

In the first you can find a lot of information on the topics that interest you. As for the nerdy thing, I am in several communities on the topic of Linux, which is something that I am passionate about, and of course in the geek zone, which is the community in Spanish but that focuses more on the gaming topic.

There are many quality authors, it is really about focusing on a single niche and being able to interact there, it has given me very good results, especially because of the people I have contacted, my dear @promete0sz

I as well love the differing perspectives that are brought to the platform every day. There is so much division and attempted silencing of different opinions and thoughts these days - it’s so refreshing when we can talk about things and have a back and forth on a topic. We are all better when we discuss things, and sadly a lot of people have forgotten that!

I’m glad that you’re on here with us, looking forward to many more years of the platform we call home!

Definitely being able to talk calmly, knowing that no government is going to be able to censor or suppress you, is honestly a great plus for me (especially for living in a country under dictatorship "Venezuela"). I have not found the sense of freedom that hive gives me in any other blockchain, I really have great friends here, and I am really pleased that you have decided to leave me a comment (I invite you to continue doing so, it is not about upvotes , it's about strengthening relationships, getting to know each other).

I am also very happy to interact with all of you, because every day I bump into more interesting people.
