Where words fail, music speaks.
This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "Your Favourite Music".
Hello, dear followers and readers of my blog. Today, I come to talk to you about my favorite music, which is the proposed theme for this occasion in the community. The truth is, music is something that has always accompanied me throughout my life and has always been present in humanity. I believe that humans without music would not be complete because it is what allows us to express our emotions, our feelings, communicate. It is a way to culturally express knowledge, leave legacies, tell stories, represent important moments in humanity itself. Epic deeds transform into great musical harmonies with very famous orchestras and enormous symphonies in great movies like Gladiator and films of that type that have impressive musical scores that take emotions to another level of epicness. There is a vast universe of music, and my preferences vary from one genre to another. Especially, I can say that what catches my attention the most about music is definitely instrumental music. Classical music, especially by Mozart, makes me transport to an internal universe, a universe where I can think, analyze, philosophize. It gives me all the tranquility to use my ingenuity to the maximum, it gives me the ease to create ideas, and I feel very calm. It is like the music that can calm me down almost at any moment. Of course, you will understand that for someone who is a rocker like me, I cannot leave out my favorite group, my favorite bands like the Beatles and the band Kiss, which are bands that have marked my adolescence and my childhood a lot. If we talk about a particular theme of the music that envelops me, it would be difficult, but I think the song "Out ofTouch" by Daryl Hall & John Oates captures and encompasses all my feelings for music, especially because it represents the most important moment of my life, which were the 80s. Those 80s that involved all the technology of video games, the Atari 2600, all the pixelated games that led me to start my current profession as a pixel artist. That entire era, I believe, can be said to be represented in this theme. Those who are precisely from my generation, from the year 68, generation X if I'm not mistaken, know that this represents something very important for them, the generation of all that are games like Pacman, Defender, Missile Command, Centipede. This is something that in those years all these songs sounded, in the era of Cyndi Lauper and the Goonies. It is this wonderful era, and then when I listen to all these themes, I feel very identified, just like when I listen to "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. But I can say that sincerely this song that I share here represents an entire era and what allows me to give myself that boost, that impulse of energy that I can listen to it again and again and again. There is also another theme I want to share with my friend @enraizar because we were talking, and I told him that I was going to write about music today, which was the proposed theme, and I told him I was going to show him my favorite song, which is about monkeys. And yes, one of my favorite songs that stays in my mind in certain moments of my life, which makes me think a lot, is "Do i wanna know" by Arctic Monkeys. This song has a special mention because it has something very seductive, very sensual in it that catches you and caught me, made me listen to it again and again and again and again repeatedly, and I also share it here. So I hope that with these two themes you can travel and understand a little more about what your friend Manclar thinks and, of course, music is the best thing in each and every one of its genres. I use Mozart to concentrate and write posts, I use Daryl Hall & John Oates to motivate myself, and occasionally I also listen to another type of music, which is electronic music like Kitaro and Jean Michael Jarre, and so Vangelis that transport me to other universes. Universes of creation, of intelligence, universes where I can be a more evolved person, a creative being, and invent a better world. Thumbnail image maded using Bing AI and edited with Canva.com
