What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also playing this mind-blastic game in your daily free time. Well, if you are a daily player of this game, then congrats for ending another ranked season and I hope all of you have reached your goals in this last one and have also started playing for this season. The season reset has already happened yesterday and right now, we have 13 days and a handful of hours before this new season ends, so let us all prepare for another glorious journey of climbing that trophy ladder. For me, I have again successfully reached my goal in the last season and have ended playing in the Champion League. After the trophy count reset, I again went down to the Diamond league and played in the Diamond II League with 3,089 trophies right now. Having almost 2 weeks in hand, I will now try to earn more SPS and Glint points and will start pushing tthe rophy count in the last week and Let’s see how it goes in this season.
Moving on, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another amazing Rebellion card with you all and as you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the mighty ULFGA THE BLIGHTED. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further.
Ulfga the Blighted
ULFGA THE BLIGHTED is a monster type card that was introduced in the game just recently and it comes under Rebellion Promo edition cards. This card belongs to the Dragon element and it is an attackless card. It is a legendary type card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade this card to max level. This monster card costs only 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily use this card when playing small to medium mana limit matches or the ones with Little Leagues ruleset. Now, apart from a decent speed and a high combo of health + armour, this card also possesses 5 abilities which I am going to talk about later in this post. BRONZE
At level 1, this monster possesses no attack power at 4 speed with 4 armour and 5 health and it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level - Untrainable and Slow. With the help of the Untrainable ability, this monster can not be weapons trained and on the other hand, the Slow ability will apply -1 speed to all enemy units.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster to level 2, it receives the same stats as of its previous level, 4 speed with 4 armour and 5 health but gladly, it does get a new ability called Poison Burst. With the help of this new ability called Poison Burst, when this card is defeated, there is a 100% chance to apply poison to the attacker and 50% to apply poison to units adjacent to the attacker.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded to the next level 3, here also it gets the same stats, Which is 4 speed with 4 armour and 5 health and it also gets another ability called Weaken. With the help of the Weaken ability, it will give -1 health to all enemy units.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level 4, its stats finally get a little increment as it now possesses 4 speed with 4 armour and 6 health. On top of that, it receives another new ability even at its max level called Rebirth. With this newly added ability called Rebirth, This unit can resurrect itself when it dies in this battle.

BATTLE STAT
This time I received a large 44 mana limit match where every element except Death is allowed and also, 3 match rulesets were applied as follows -
- Four's a Crowd - Only 4 monsters can be used in this battle.
- Fog of War - All Units lose and Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity ability.
- Heavy Metal - You can only summon armoured units.
After looking at all these rules and limits, I started thinking about a useful strategy and after thinking a bit, I finally decided to use magic attackers at my back while protecting the front with 2 attackless tank cards. So as decided, I started building my lineup accordingly.
For this match, first of all, I used the legendary Dragon summoner Akane and at the first position of my lineup, I chose Ulfga The Blighted followed by Grimbardun Smith, Chaos Dragon and Night Reaper at my end place. When both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my Opponent had used the legendary Dragon summoner Quix the Devious and at the first position of his lineup, he had chosen Ildri Fyre followed by Ferexian Hero, Chaos Dragon and Night Reaper at the end position of his lineup. So both of us chose the same 2 heavy magic monsters at the end position, now let’s see who actually wins this match.
As the match began, first of all, my summoner Akane enabled the first 2 Ambush attack buffs, which I had given to my Chaos Dragon and Night Reaper and very unexpectedly, both my Chaos Dragon and Night Reaper attacked the same Target the enemy Chaos Dragon and killed it down even before the start of the first round, which definitely was a big advantage to me. However, next at round 2, my Night Reaper killed down the enemy Reaper followed by another attack from my Night at round 3 which took down the Ildri Fyre this time. The only monster that was alive on the opponent’s lineup was the Ferexian Hero and soon, my Chaos Dragon took care of it in the same round and thus, I won another awesome match and earned some more SPS and Glint points as a reward.
