This seems to be profitable and some users find this also compatible because they don't have to pay a huge amount at once. The subscription model is trending these days. Every single company is doing this. And by implementing this, they are generating a good income And I'm sure they are getting more profits than before, because earlier they used to get only one payment for their software and that's all that they got from the customer. But now, if the customer wants to continue using their services, they do have to pay the subscription fee. Yes, the fee might seem to be low. But if you look at the longer picture they have to pay it for the lifetime, as long as they are going to use the software. So in the end the scheme is going to be profitable for the company If you purchase a yearly subscription, then you might save a huge amount of money. But in the end, you are not going to get any profit from it, the company is the one who is gaining all the profit And I think this is a good thing, because they are working on the software, developing it, and they have to run a company, and they have to also fulfil the needs of their employees and lots of other things.
