A building, in a broad sense, is a fixed construction that is used as a human dwelling or that allows the realization of different activities.
In the beginning, the main purpose of the first human constructions was the protection of fire, used to prepare food or as a source of light, preventing it from being extinguished by wind or rain. Subsequently, the materials and techniques used for the construction of buildings changed over the course of history.
These photos taken a couple of years ago, correspond to a large residential complex located southeast of the city of Caracas, where the eldest of my nephews lives, and where I have stayed briefly on some occasions when I travel to the capital of the republic for personal errands.
The urbanization is located in a hilly area on the outskirts of the city, and consists of about two or three dozen buildings of medium height, with apartments intended exclusively for residential use.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Un edificio, en un sentido amplio, es una construcción fija que se utiliza como vivienda humana o que permite la realización de diferentes actividades.
En un principio, las primeras construcciones humanas tenían como objetivo primordial la protección del fuego, usado para preparar alimentos o como fuente de luz, evitando que se apagara por el viento o la lluvia. Posteriormente, los materiales y las técnicas usadas para la construcción de edificios fueron cambiando con el transcurso de la historia.
Estas fotos tomadas un par de años atrás, corresponden a un extenso conjunto residencial ubicado al sureste de la ciudad de Caracas, donde vive el mayor de mis sobrinos, y donde me he alojado brevemente en algunas ocasiones cuando viajo a la capital de la república para realizar gestiones personales.
La urbanización está situada en una zona montañosa de las afueras de la ciudad, y consta de unas dos o tres decenas de edificios de mediana altura, con apartamentos destinados exclusivamente a uso residencial.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
