“The road to freedom is bordered with sunflowers.”

A Field of Sunflowers
Some years ago while traveling along the Jose Antonio Paez Highway in the western Venezuelan plains, I was pleasantly surprised by a field of sunflowers that stretched from the side of the road as far as the eye could see.
Like many drivers, I parked my car and walked to the field, trying not to damage the plants, to take some pictures with this extraordinary natural backdrop.
After a while touring the plantation, and given the stifling heat in the place, I decided to resume my way, satisfied to have witnessed this spectacle of nature.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
