Saludos a todos los Hivers. Para hoy les tengo una Receta para preparar unos Sabrosos Bollitos Pelones al estilo venezolano que a todos les va a encantar.

Los Bollitos Pelones son un platillo muy tradicional y que aquí en Venezuela se preparan en casi todos los hogares, es una comida muy casera, la cual se pueden rellenar de carne de res, carne de cerdo o pollo.

Bollitos Pelones are a very traditional dish and here in Venezuela they are prepared in almost every home, it is a very homemade food, which can be filled with beef, pork or chicken.

Los ingredientes que voy a utilizar para preparar estos Bollitos Pelones son los siguientes:

The ingredients I am going to use to prepare these Bollitos Pelones are as follows:

  • 1/2 kg. de carne de res molida
  • 3 dientes de ajo
  • 250 gramos de Harina de maíz
  • 250 ml de agua
  • 1 cucharadita de mantequilla
  • 1 cucharadita de azúcar
  • Sal, pimienta negra y cominos
  • 1 cucharadita de Orégano seco
  • 1 cucharadita de pimenton en polvo picante
  • 2 Tomate
  • salsa de de tomate
  • 1 cebolla blanca
  • 1 ají dulce
  • 1/4 de pimenton rojo
  • cebollín y ajo porro
  • aceite para freír
  • 1/2 kg. ground beef
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 250 grams of corn flour
  • 250 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Salt, black pepper and cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano * 1 teaspoon of dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of hot paprika powder
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Tomato sauce
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 sweet bell pepper
  • 1/4 red pepper
  • chives and garlic
  • oil for frying

Preparación | Preparation

Comenzamos preparando la masa, calentamos el agua y añadiendo la harina de maíz, la sal y la mantequilla, mezclamos y amasamos hasta obtener una masa homogénea.

We begin by preparing the dough, heating the water and adding the corn flour, salt and butter, mixing and kneading until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

Seguidamente licuamos el tomate, la cebolla, el cebollín, ajo porro ají dulce y le agregamos ajo triturado, el pimenton en polvo y sal y pimienta. Reservamos.

Next we blend the tomato, onion, chives, garlic, sweet bell pepper and add crushed garlic, paprika powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Calentamos en un sarten aceite y sofreímos la salsa de tomate previamente licuada, le añadimos una cucharadita de azúcar y sal con el fin de neutralizar la acidez de los tomates, tambien le colocamos ajo triturado, orégano seco y salsa de tomate. Cocinamos a fuego bajo por 10 minutos.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the tomato sauce previously blended, add a teaspoon of sugar and salt in order to neutralize the acidity of the tomatoes, also add crushed garlic, dried oregano and tomato sauce. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

La carne molida que utilice ya previamente la había preparado el día anterior y fue la que utilice para rellenar estos Bollitos pelones.

Ya lista la masa, la carne y la salsa de tomate, se comienzan a hacer bolitas de masa, la cual hacemos con el dedo un hueco y rellenamos, se cierra nuevamente los bollitos pelones.

Se calienta agua en una olla y se van introduciendo, se dejan cocinar por 20 minutos , hasta que comienzan a flotar en el agua, esto significa que ya están listos, apagamos, retiramos del fuego, y servimos colocándole la salsa de tomate y un poco de cilantro picadito y a disfrutar.

Estos Bollitos Pelones los acompañe con arroz blanco, papas fritas, un pedazo de aguacate, ensalada e cebolla y tomate y un refrescante jugo de naranja.
