Venir a España y no comer jamón es como que sino viniste a España, de hecho actualmente al país que más se exporta jamón de Bellota es China es la comunidad con más demanda de este producto de gourmet, ahora bien inicialmente a un turista le das jamón serrano de cebo comercial y te dirá que está divino, de hecho en los comercios y establecimientos de la zona más turística de Madrid como La Gran Vía existen negocios especializados en jamón pero que en su mayoría ofrecen jamón serrano de cebo, hay mucha diferencia entre un jamón y otro, lógicamente el mejor es el de Bellota y el jamón serrano original de toda la vida que es criado el cerdo ibérico en el campo se alimenta de bellotas y hierbas por tanto su sabor es más fuerte y su grasa algo más densa con un sabor particular mientras que el jamón de cebo es alimentado el cerdo con pienso para engordarlo, por tanto su sabor es menos fuerte y al ser cortado es más seco y posee menos grasa.

Los españoles son los grandes conocedores de jamón pero ello no implica se puedan dar todos el lujo de comer jamón de bellota ya que es una exquisitez y por su costo, entre los más famosos están el jamón de jabugo y el 5 Jotas de el pueblo Jabugo, igualmente os invito aprovechar ese paseo ya que es interesante conocer a Jerez de los Caballeros a 60 kms de Jabugo que es un pueblo con mucho encanto que te remonta a la época de los primeros caballeros Templarios en 1312 y la verdad a mi me pareció una pasada esa visita.
