Hello Everyone.
How are you all doing?
Today, I bring you another one of my fan-art digital drawings of monsters of Splinterlands. I drew it in my own way by modifying the primary theme or the original card. I'll be sharing what tools I used, and how I did it (with detailed explanation for each step). The monster I drew today is named Mimosa Nightshade.
I used my laptop, Wacom drawing tablet, stylus touch pen, and a drawing software called Ibis Paint to complete the drawing. I made this drawing and now posting it here to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll attach the link to the contest below. please check it out if you're interested. I'll also be adding the original image so that you can compare it yourself.
My Drawing
Original Image
I started the process as usual by drawing the basic structure of the main drawing and visualizing the primary view. I started with drawing her body figure and then I also drew the small parts like eyes, lips, and nose. I also drew her dress and hair in this part. Surely you noticed the orb in her hand which looks kind of odd. It's because I downloaded this one from Freepik and used it here.
Then I started adding the primary skin colors and the necessary color layers in this step. I used oil color and brush tools to do this one. After some layering and blending of the colors, it started to look normal.
Then I started working with the details on her face. Like eyes, eyebrows, lips, and her whole facial skin tone. I started with the eyes and eyebrows. It took several layers and a lot of time to complete and I also completed drawing her skin meanwhile.
I completed the hair part in this step. I first added two basic colors and then put multiple color layers on top of it to bring out the look I wanted.
I started with drawing borderlines over my sketch and then used a thick brush first to fill and then used some layers and a spray brush tool to complete it. After some more spraying and layer adding, the dress was complete too.
Final Image
And after some retouching in the main character and completing the drawing of the magical orb in her hand, here is my final result:
I hope you liked my drawing. There were a lot of steps and small parts that I skipped cause that'd be 64 pictures in total. For that I'll add a gif below that will contain all of them. Tell me in the comment if you liked it or not. Also, give me suggestions about how can I improve my content quality. Both my post and drawing. Thanks in advance for that. Thanks a lot for reading my post and staying till the end.
