How nice it is to laugh, that is one of the things that makes us all happy. And the best thing about it is that it is easily funny and you can brighten up other people's day just by laughing yourself. But it is even nicer when you live and work for the sake of brightening up others. That has no comparison in this life. That is Lola. She is a very charismatic and talkative girl. If you talk to her you will immediately start laughing. She has it in her blood, it is as if she was born for her current job. She works as a clown, that is her vocation and for which she has worked hard for a long time to achieve it.
But to get to where she is today, many things had to happen, some very good and others, well, not so good. But everything that has happened has served to strengthen her and help her become the best clown, one who truly lives for what she does. The beginning of this adventure was a long time ago, perhaps since she was in her mother's womb. No one knows if she already had the idea of becoming a clown when she grew up. No one knows, but everything seems to indicate that because when she grew up and was already a little girl, she began to develop a great ability to make others laugh and brighten anyone's day. For example, at her friends' parties to which she was invited, she caught everyone's attention, even if the party was not for her.
Sometimes they would make her break the piñata, but instead of doing it directly, she would first invent a comedy routine about how the piñata suffered a nervous breakdown before being destroyed. She would say, Oh, don't break me, don't break me. The children burst out laughing at Lola's pantomime, and even more eagerly asked her to break it. These were very funny moments that only she knew how to create. That's why family friends always invited her to their children's parties, because she really knew how to liven up the atmosphere. It wasn't necessary to hire a clown, since they already had a clown.
From this perspective, it seems that her life will be geared towards being a clown when she grows up, at least some kind of entertainer. And she herself knew it, she knew that this would be her destiny. Now making it a reality would not be as easy as saying, okay, I'm a clown now, no, nothing like that, things were much more complicated. Although her parents enjoyed her a lot when she did these numbers and such, they wanted a more promising future for her, let's say, economically speaking. Her father was an accountant in a bank and her mother was an economist in a good company. Both earned good money in their jobs and wanted Lola to have a good life like they had now.
For this reason, from a young age, they told her what career she should choose. This did not please her at all, because that was not what she wanted for her life. Even so, she had no choice but to put aside that crazy desire to be a clown that she had to study a career at her level. Already as a young woman, with the dedication of her parents and with her good teachers, she managed to be in the highest echelon of the school where she studied. Her teachers constantly reminded her that she had a great future ahead of her because she had a lot of promise. Lola always thanked them. Even so, her talent for making others laugh did not go away just like that. Her cheerful nature would always come out.
Many times when there was a boring math class in the classroom and she saw that her classmates were not paying attention, she took the initiative to get everyone's attention and make them look at the teacher again. It was usually a dirty joke about numbers and math. Everyone would laugh and then continue paying attention to the teacher. That's how she spent all her years at school, learning a lot and making others laugh when she could. When the day came to choose the careers she was going to follow here, the key moment of her life arrived. Among the careers she had to choose were economics and performing arts. You can imagine she had the possibility of studying performing arts.
Through that career she could work as a comedian or clown on television and in other places. But again it wouldn't be that easy. Her parents told her that studying that with her talent would be a total waste of time and her teachers also told her the same. In addition, they emphasized to her over and over again that if she chose the career of economics she could have a better economic future. Lola didn't really care about money, she just wanted to do what she liked. But the pressure got the better of her desire and in the end she chose to be an economist. This was perhaps the saddest stage of her life. She never got sad, but this time she did.
In less than a rooster crows, well not literally, XD, she graduated from high school and began working in the administration of a company. Since she had a good mind for numbers, she got a high position at work. She began to earn a lot of money and soon bought herself a nice luxury apartment and several other knick-knacks. For anyone in her place, this would be the ideal life. But she was never as happy as before, because she was not where she wanted to be. She had to sit in an office all day with thousands of papers and numbers. It was overwhelming and, to make matters worse, since she had a higher position, she did not have access to a shared office, she was alone, so this made her feel miserable.
With all this in mind, she would occasionally leave the office to chat a little during breaks. There she would take the opportunity to chat and make a few small jokes to pass the time. Many of her colleagues told her that she had a future as a clown, making her feel a little upset because they reminded her that that was not her place.
Lately Lola has been spending a lot of time with Danay, she is the person in charge of human resources and hiring new staff. And in one of those talks she told Danay part of her life and what she had always wanted even though she had not been able to achieve it. Danay was very sad to hear her story and told her not to worry that she would take charge of finding a way to help her achieve what she wanted. Lola started to laugh because she did not see a way in which she could help her, but there was one. The company they worked for was in charge of managing and creating events in the city.
And they had several divisions, including organizing parties for children. Danay told her that if she had confessed that wish to her some time ago she would have helped her achieve her wish, especially because she was the one who hired staff and changed positions. So she told her, Lola, get ready because starting today we are going to change your division. Now you will be in charge of managing the finances of the children's parties division. If you want, you can do both, be the economist and at the same time participate in the parties as a clown. That way I won't have to hire one.
Lola literally saw her heaven open. Danay had opened a door for her that she thought was closed forever. Now, in addition to her job as an accountant, she had the opportunity to be a clown. Her two worlds were united, she wouldn't have to leave one to be in the other. Without a doubt, sometimes it's better to ask for help, otherwise she would never have found that opportunity. Now she could be happy again and make others happy, because beyond making people laugh, that's living, Lola.
