Hello holozing community, how are you all today. i am guessing everyone is preparing to take part in the zingtober event, in my part of the world, today is october 1st.
so i am starting to draw for inktober starting today. the first prompt was backpack.
Story
i made a holozing creature that resembles a backpack, in a very distant future of holozing the situation for all the holozing groups have become dire. Due to the growing wars they need more resources and they have started to transform their every day objects into sentient animals that can fight for and with them.
as you can see from the logo it used to be a holozing backpack, it has been brought to life and given a magic stave. since its technically a backpack, its able to hold many more magical items in its body and use them as necessary making it one of most powerful sentient object in the holozing universe.
we are to mix holozing with inktober prompts and so i made up a sort of story about this, hopefully that makes sense.
The hardest part of this was drawing with only black and white, though we are allowed to use one color palette and i feel like that would be even harder, for example if i use green i have to use only shades of green and no matter what i am gonna draw i have to use shades of green. so for my first one i am sticking to black and white.
this is my third attempt on this prompt, first i tried to draw a lone backpack with a lot of magical object inside, then i drew a blue paletted drawing of a dragon head and a backpack in the snow, but it didn't look very good and i didn't finish it, then i just drew this.
since there are 29 more prompts left, i think i will collect the courage to draw some of them with one single color palette, it would be a challenge but i will try.
here are some process shots of this drawing.
