Hello Hivers 💕💘,

In crop production, there are several challenges a farmer faces which sometimes it beyond explanation. But often times most people may not understand how what it works but they always see the outcome of the production or the farmer being reduced drastically. And when the Farmer starts to explain how it has been it may take a longer period of time to understand and comprehend. But today Maize 🌽🌽 Farmer this is one of those things they face on the farm which may also render a lot of farmers effort useless. But also this particular situation always arises as a lot of heavy rainfall that constantly fall during the rainy season and sometimes when it comes to the dry season for those that cultivate Maize crop it may also be difficult because more of drought may affect their Farm heavily.

When we are attracted to the particular crop then we may also face this type of challenge which is a setback for farmer. This was what I faced when I also cultivated the mazie even when I mixed the crop with another set of different crop species. There was a particular moment when I got to the farm and all the set of maize on different sections of the farm was heavily affected by maize weevil which ate them all. They started from the leaf portion area to the top most portion and that was how it all gone. But I did not let the negative energy weighed me down. I left that particular agricultural farmlands to plant another type of crop which yielded well. So this is to tell us that we must not give up failure for any reason good or bad. That is always a good learning experience to learn from every situation.

  • These are some few signs to know that they are more test and diseases coming when you plant the Maize 🌽🌽 either during the rain season or dry season. When you notice that there are tiny stone like things on your cultivated crops then you must observe them very well.

When I got to the farm I saw that there was a lot of this black spotted light on so many leaves of the Maize crops. So I decided to take the pictures to show us that there are certain peculiar pest and diseases that attack crops on the farm which may lead to downfall or so many farmers if it is being taken with levity hands. You must not joke with them at all.

Each portion of the Maize crop has it own design of attraction to insect pest and diseases. These also boost a lot of insect moral to attack a lot of maize on the farm. Which also disfigure more plant standing and its stem slowly. So you need to look out for change in the leaves.

This is also one of the insects that is attracted to the Maize silk. They always come in into the Maize itself through this opening that is on the Maize corn. So the penetrate and start to damage the corn gradually without any form of set back for them until they finish a whole bunch of maize Farm.

When you see this you need to act fast because when you start to delay the solution that should be provided within just few days they will start to build up more younger ones and also breeding of eggs will commence.

Once in a while you may engage in using a center side when you find a traces on your maize leaf. Or you can also use the ancient way of fighting insect pest and diseases using Ash on them on regular basis.

Thank you brother. Its Maize 🌽🌽 crop. Or corn. Its all the same name but called in different countries. Some actually call it Maize while others call it corn. Are you into FARMING too? @braaiboy

Yeah, In Afrikaans it's called "Mielies" here in South Africa. Not into the actual farming (crop or animal) personally, no... but I use a lot of animals (and enough crops) on my BRAAI (aka BBQ) ;-)

Smile 😂🤣. Oh. Okay. Nice. Thank you for the tip too.
