Hello Hivers ππ,
Different crop production with different growth and development even with the Farm setting which may looks alike even from the pictures. There are some crops that grow up with the aim of having root for their growth and development. This crops are different from crop like tuber crops such as yam, potato, cassava, cocoyam, coco Ghana, Irish potato, carrot, and many more tuber crops. On the other hand this type of crop is different entirely such that as you can see it it also looks like the grass family.
The plant is called the Tiger nut plant. The Tiger Nut plant is extremely different and not too difficult to plant with the experiment I did lately. That is why it is good to experiment a lot of crops in your farm, in your yard, in your garden, so that even when people are saying one thing or the other you will be able to join them in conversation and in contributing when we are the other tp what they are saying. There are some ways by which you can carry out the experiment slightly and it will pay more informative as it grow up.
I started having more interest in planting some crops that are extremely different from what we have in the west Africa region of Nigeria even though sometimes our weather condition may serve as a factor that may affect the crops positive or in the negative way. But not withstanding I always give a trial just like as you can see it in the pictures. It is a very good experience to get along. When I first of all planted the tiger nut, I source the seed from those that push the truck around. I washed it thoroughly before planting it and it germinated very well. These are some of the pictures I took.
- The first thing you will notice when you insert the Tiger Nut seed into the soil is that its take 7 to 14 days for it to sprout out. You must also not that when you are planting it you must count it one after the like you accounting 1,2,3. And drop it inside a hole, not extremely too deep.
After the first week of planting, you will notice that there will be a sprout out from the soil. You must not step on them at all or else they will all go dead. Do you need to excuse walking around the farm for a couple of 2 weeks for the tiger nut to grow up very well.
Before you plant the tiger Nut seed, you may at first mix the soil or the agricultural Farmland with the organic manure. If you have the rabbit droppings, you can equally use it, if you also have poultry droppings you can as well use it. If you also have cow dunk, it is absolutely acceptable. You need to mix it thoroughly so that it will not affect your crop production.
- The more you add water the growth and the development within a twinkle of an eye. Tiger nut is also a root crop which means that you need to apply water constantly in order to have a very beautiful harvest within a short range of time without no side effect on the planting.
You can equally plant it and give it a trial only if you have where to plant it and to manage it properly.
