Wow! How time Flies
It was just like yesterday that i got to know about hive through a friend @bornben. And i eventually joined. That was 2days ago last year.
I didn't even know it was a year already if not for @hivebuzz.
I can't still believe it has been one year on here but it is what it is.
Reminiscing on the past one year and I can say it's been a fun journey here on hive ; from getting to know the do's and don'ts, proof of brain posts, contests, use of tags and mostly familiarizing myself with markdowns.
I look back to when I'd still be soliciting for resources and eventually owning enough resources of my own. I remember when I was still getting to know the difference between Hive, HP and HBD. The difference between post boosts and promotion. Also, trying to rap my head around the reward system.
It's been some experience!
I think my very first acquaintances here were @ecency(ofcourse, lol), @beeber and @Justclickdiva. That's if I'm not mistaking.
I'm glad that I'm celebrating one year on hive with a post i actually put my back into, which you should check out here
If there's anything I've learnt here on hive, it is that consistency pays (literally)
One other I've learnt on hive is that networking, especially on platforms like this, go a long way in being successful.
And although my network here hasn't been impressive over the past year, I'm looking forward to following more decent bloggers on here.
I've spent the past year on hive mostly posting poems, mostly from prompts by @freewritehouse for the pic1000 contest which you should check out.
Also the let's make a Collage challenge by @shaka. I've also been writing short fiction on @theinkwell.
And I've also as a medical student (with MBBS in view) been making posts on medical facts and myths.
It's been one year and cheers to that but I'll be sticking around for a while to say cheers to 10years on hive and hopefully more.
