While overall NFT market seems to have cooled off a little the net worth of Splinterlands NFTs has only somewhat flat lined.
It means the price of Splinterlands NFTs are holding up well. How well? Lets take a deeper dive into the overall net worth of players.
Overall Net Worth
There are now 5 accounts with over $1 million in card values. This is almost a 50% drop from a couple of months ago when I last checked. Back then there were 9 accounts over $1 million.
My goal of trying to reach $100k came and went in an instant as my overall card collection is now sliding down to below $40k. However it still makes me one of very few in the camp of having a large amount of $ value in cards. In fact as of now only 1,915 players have a collection exceeding $10k in value.
The majority of players owning any cards stands at 317,011 players, which means over half of all accounts that owns a spell book do not own and cards in their accounts.
The value range with the most combined value is in the $100k - $1M mark at a total of +$76 million. That is over 44% of the total in games current all cards values.
Value Range Over Time
We can clearly see that most ranges besides $0-$1 in net worth has mostly declined. This is interesting considering the game continues to add players daily but the quantity of players increasing their total net worth of card collections is not rising at the same rate.
All of this has led me to believe there are more players who are simply transitory and that long term Splinterlands players are few and far between. This may not be a bad thing as it means card prices have dropped and made a bit more affordable.
Conclusions
The game averages 3.5 million transactions per a day.
Close to 400,000 daily players.
Market cap of all cards has held pretty steady for the past week at close to $170 million.
Yet we can see that not many players actually hold a lot of cards to have a large sum of $ value. The wealth distribution of cards as a whole still appears to have majority of wealth own by few players. This does not take away from the fact that the players with the wealth tend to have played the game the longest and invested the most into the game.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!
