If you live in my country, you will appreciate what hive blog chain can do to one's life financially. Yesterday I pass through a site where some guys were doing some labour work, which they start by 8am - 4pm before they close for that day.
They are paid two thousand naira each (2000) for a daily work. That is 4 HBd if converted. One HBD is valued 550 naira, so 4 HBD will be 2,200 naira, which is equivalent to the daily pay for a labourer who has work for 8 hour under hot sun in my country.
The minimum wage in my country is thirty thousand naira (30000) for a monthly work, the equivalent in HBD is 60.
Now lets the math. If a hivian can be making 4 HBD daily for his post, by the end of the month, he should have saved 63,000 thousand naira which is equivalent to 120 HBD.
As a Nigerian, with 63,000 naira in your account every month, you can be said to be living an average life. In the area where I stay, a self contain apartment with bathroom and kitchen cost one hundred and twenty naira (#120,000) for a yearly rent. With $120 dollar worth of HBD, you should be able to pay the yearly rent.
As an average Nigerian, a $2 dollar worth of HBD can feed a person daily. In the morning you buy a pap for 100 naira with akara( beans cake) for 100 naira. In the afternoon, you can eat Eba( garri) for #300 naira, and same thing in the evening, and you are good to go for that day. If you total the amount spent on food for that day, you will observe its less than $2 dollars.
From my above analysis, you can see that, making 4 HBD in your every day post in hive in Nigeria, is a venture everyone should join. And if one is committed and dedicated, there is a lot of financial gain and other stuff to benefit from.
Hive can be a life changing social media blog, if only a person can be consistent and dedicated.
