Intro
Hello friends, welcome back to my blog. I've made a lot of posts about battle challenges and I'm getting bored with the format I usually write. A few days ago, I read a post how to improve content on Splinterlands from @cieliss. That post gave me an idea to slightly change the style of my post about the battle challenge. She suggested to creat a fictional stories about some of the monsters in the game. So in this post I will write a little version of my own fictional story with characters that I took from the game Splinterlands in the battle challenge post. As you know, i'm not a good storyteller or writter, but i'll do my best and i hope you will enjoy.
A Story About Crypt Beetle
In an area called the Desert of Dugazi a landmark on the island of Mortis. Mortis Island is an island with little life, its territory is dominated by ethernal beings. of the many lardmarks on the island of mortis, one of the most filled with beetle creatures from feeding is the area Desert of Dugazi.
There is a giant beetle that likes to eat corpses that are called Crypt Beetle. Desert of Dugazi is a place filled with sandstorms all the time and they survive by eating corpses carried by the storm. Born into a harsh environment, the Crypt Beetle has a tough skin and incredible durability. when there are no carcasses to eat, they fight each other and eat opponents who have lost, So those who survive will be stronger than the others. I caught a level 6 Crypt Beetle and sealed it in a card so I can use its power to fight.
Battle Preparation
Mana : 25
Available Unit : Water, Earth, Life and Death.
Rule set :
Equal Opportunity : All monsters will attack from any position (range monsters cannot attack from position 1) and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.
Little League : You can only use Monsters and Summoners with 4 or less mana.
When Little League comes, Mostly i used Crypt Beetle on battle field. This monster just need 3 mana cost and He has shield ability. Here is my lineup strategy :

 | Debuff -1 Magic and -1 Health | Thaddius Brood is a rare summoner from chaos legion edition belongs to death unit. he have debuff -1 health and -1 magic attack from all opponent monsters. Usually in Little Leaguge ruleset, monster just have a lillte health in lineup. |
 | Shield | The main charakter in this battle challenge. Crypt Beetle is a common card monster from chaos legion edition and belongs to death unit. He has shield ability so thats why i put this card on first position. |
 | Reach and Affliction | Another ethernal being, a common monster from chaos legion edition called Shadow Snitch. At level 6 he has Reach and affliction ability. Maybe reach is not usefull in this ruleset, but he has affliction and he has 6 health. I think its enought to survive in battlefield. |
 | Flying, Scavenger, and Backfire | I this this monster born from bat shadow. Riftwing is a common monster from chaos legion edition belong to death unit. Even did;t attack, he has so much ability to make my lineup stongger and solid. |
 | Heal | Moving forward, there is Xenith Monk as a rare neutral monster from chaos legion edition. At level 6 he has heal ability and has 2 malee damage. This card is good to used in lillte leaguge ruleset. |
 | Life Leach | At 5th position, i put Life Sapper a rare monster from chaos legion edition belongs to death. He has 2 magic ability with life leech ability. |
 | None | In last position, i put Soul Strangler to give more damage to the opponent. Soul Strangel is a rare card from chaos legion edition belongs to death unit. At level 5 he has 3 range damage and 3 health. |

Round 1
- I think my strategy almost same with my opponent, she/he used death unit and used schoolar akun from NFT Arcade.
- My Xenith Monk kill Weirding Warrior because he has no armor and has little health.
- My opponent also lost one more monster which is Soul Strangler.
Round 2
- At this round, i loss 2 monsters that is Crypt Beetle and Soul Strangler
- We both still have 4 monsters left in battlefield.
Round 3
- At this round i loss my Life Sapper and my opponent loss Crypt Beetle.
- Riftwing always increases his health every time an opponent is defeated.
- 3 monsters left in each side.
Round 4
- My Shadow Snitch has defeted after recieving magic attack from Life Sapper.
- I just have 2 monster left and my opponent still have 3 more monsters.
Round 5
- I have Riftwing with 13 health in first position and Xenith Monk with heal ability in behind.
- My opponent has loss Xenith Monk.
Round 6 - End
- My Opponent has lost Shadow Snitch.
- I have 2 more monster and my opponent just have Life Sapper with life leech.
- each round i hit 2 attack and my opponent just hit 1 magic attack.
- I get win and still have Xenith Monk and Riftwing on battlefield.
My Review About Crypt Beetle
My strategy worked really well to put the Crypt Beetle in first place. Crypt Beetle comes from a harsh environment making him have extraordinary resilience. I like this monster and i already bought gold foil to be my core death deck. He is very Usefull in little leaguge ruleset and the price is so cheap. In some cases, i also used this monster in Super Sneak rules and i put this card on last position.
