It has been a little while since I have provided a PoB specific post and I do apologise between interviewing emerging Terra Projects and trying to start my own project I have been consumed with a lot of work.

Not that I don't enjoy it but I really miss getting in amongst it all and I feel like I've missed out on so much! But that's OK we will catch up and make up for it.

I took these images some time ago and some were used in a previous blog. Summer is ending down here and the weather is becoming grey and cold. This was most likely the last hot day of the summer period so we spent it amongst the sunflowers enjoying their beauty.

It's become quite the trend around here lately every summer time fields of Sunflowers are planted and their enormous size draws in a significant amount of foot traffic to the local area. They also help to Brighten up the day seeing such beautiful flowers.

Sunflowers are also the national flower of Ukraine which is in part why we went here on this day as it was not long after the war started and we wanted to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

Might sound a little odd taking pictures in a field of flowers to make a point but everything we do does help get the message out there amongst the people.

It is one of my favourite spots and this is the second year in a row that we have been here that the event has been on. The sunflowers weren't as large this year and I'm wondering if the soil was fertilised to ensure the next batch can grow accordingly.

The flowers are also planted to make a bit of a maze for people to walk through, nothing over complicated for us who can see over them but for little kids it's an absolute joy as the flowers are bigger than them!

There are sun chairs around the place where you can sit amongst the flowers, read a book or even have a chat with the people you're with.

It's such an amazing experience and wonderful to see mother nature in such a way.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my entry this week and I'll look forward to curating many more entries with PoB curation account.
