This is a perfect theme for those of us who live in the North where nothing has begun to grow yet this season and there is still patches of snow on the ground. I am longing for green and colorful flowers and can't wait for spring time to actually get here.
But this is also a very difficult theme for me. I love flowers and I love colorful photographs, so going through and choosing which of the flower photos to share for this contest was really hard! It was very difficult to limit myself to only a handful of photos because I have so many of them that I love.
I could spend all day in the gardens, stopping to take pictures of each one of these individual blossoms. And it's not just the flowers, there are bees and butterflies everywhere offering lots of photo opportunities. I hope summer hurries and gets here!
