Today, I would like to share one of my favorite toys from childhood with you. I received it as a gift when I was 6 years old. It was the new 1978 Fisher Price Record Player. I got several storybooks with records to go along with the player. This gift helped me learn to read better.
I loved playing storybook records when I was a child. I remember someone else playing an old record player and I wanted one too 😀

I no longer have the Fisher Price record player, but I do still have some of my old vinyl records. My favorite record was The Magic Fish. I bought a new Victrola Record Player last year as I have collected some other vinyl over the years. I made a short clip of my favorite childhood story below on YouTube. Unfortunately, there's a crack in the vinyl so it skips a little bit.

I even have the theme song from The Duke's of Hazzard on vinyl. My cousins and I used to watch that show all the time when we were kids. Does anyone remember Bo and Luke Duke? 😅
