Today I had lunch at El Pescador Fish Market in La Jolla. I've been wanting to go there for a while, as I usually get food at a couple other places near by and I always see that this place is busy. The reviews on Google and Yelp are pretty good too.
The restaurant has a couple big communal tables, and a lot of tables around. They also have a fish market, where you can buy some fresh fish to take home. It was pretty busy at the time we were there, you need to order at the counter, get a number and they will bring the food to the table. The menu has a big selection of fishes and you can order it as a sandwich, a salad, or a plate. Everything is looks very good. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was also really good. I just think it was a bit pricey and the sandwich doesn't come with a side.
I ordered the swordfish sandwich, and my wife ordered the cajun mahi-mahi sandwich. We shared only one haze IPA draft beer, as we didn't have much time to stay there. We had to go pick up the kids at school.

Hoje almocei no El Pescador Fish Market em La Jolla. Já fazia um tempo que eu queria ir lá, pois geralmente compro comida em alguns outros lugares próximos e sempre vejo que esse lugar está cheio. As avaliações no Google e no Yelp também são muito boas.
O restaurante tem duas grandes mesas comunitárias e muitas mesas ao redor. Eles também têm um mercado de peixes, onde você pode comprar peixes frescos para levar para casa. Estava bastante movimentado no momento em que estivemos lá, você precisa fazer o pedido no balcão, receber um número e eles levam a comida até a sua mesa. O cardápio tem uma grande variedade de peixes e você pode pedir como um sanduíche, uma salada ou um prato. Tudo parece muito bom. O atendimento foi muito simpático, o ambiente era ótimo e a comida também estava muito boa. Só acho que o preço é um pouco alto e o sanduíche não vem com acompanhamento.
Eu pedi o sanduíche de peixe-espada e minha esposa pediu o sanduíche de mahi-mahi cajun. Dividimos apenas um chope haze IPA, pois não tínhamos muito tempo para ficar lá. Tínhamos que ir buscar as crianças na escola.
