Staying up late at night isn’t such a good idea because it’s at night our body needs the best rest. But it’s not something we can avoid, because there are times we have to get some things done at night.
As a student who prefers reading at night to the afternoon, there are a lot of things I do and take caution of to make me stay awake and active at night.
The things I do when planning to stay awake at night are
Maintaining good posture
Sitting on a chair when reading at night has been the best position I love to be because it does help me to stay awake. When I sit on a chair instead of sitting on the bed or any other place I stay alert and get done with what I have to do fast.
I make sure I have enough sleep during the day
For someone that knows she has books to read I make sure I sleep for at least one hour before I begin to study during the night and that makes my body relax and prepare it for the work ahead.
I mind the kind of food I take in
There are some types of food I avoid eating when I plan to stay awake to read at night. I could remember some days ago when I plan to read at night and I took in a swallow with vegetable soup. It was funny to me when I see myself waking up after some hours because I doze off😩😂. After that day, I mind the kind of food I take in and get to know it’s best to take proteinous food and avoid heavy foods when I want to stay awake at night.
In conclusion, to stay up late at night a person must have a focused and determined mindset. Determination and being focused have help me stay up late at night and when I have it in mind that I have to get something done at night then I stay determined and get it done.
