I cooked yam and egg today and would like to tell everyone the steps I took in preparing it.
Do we all know yam? If not then yam is a perennial herbaceous vine cultivated for the consumption of its starchy tubers in many temperate and tropical regions, especially in west Africa, south America and the Caribbean, Asia and Oceania.
Americans call yam “sweet potatoes”.
While eggs are laid by female animals of many different species, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, a few mammals, and fish, many of these have been eaten by humans for thousands of years. Bird and reptile eggs consist of a protective eggshell, albumen, and vitellus, contained within various thin membranes.
Ingredients for preparing yam and egg are:
•Yam
•Egg
•pepper
•onions
•groundnut oil
•salt
•maggi

Steps in cooking yam and egg.
•peel the yam and slice it into any pieces of your choice.
•wash the yam thoroughly.
•pour water into a pot, put it on fire, and add the yam that has been sliced. Then add a dash of salt and cover the pot for some minutes.
After some minutes, check if it’s soft. Once it’s soft and tender turn off the heat, then put the pot on fire back, turn on heat for a few seconds and turn off the heat back.
Then your yam is ready😁.
Steps in frying egg.
•Blend your pepper and onions
•Break eggs in a bowl
• Add a pinch of salt and whisk properly.
•Put your frying pan on fire and heat it.
•once the frying pan is heated, add the groundnut oil.
•when the groundnut is hot, add the blended pepper, onions, salt and maggi cube.
•when the pepper it’s done. Then add the egg and scramble everything together.
•Turn off the heat immediately, and serve with boiled yam.
