Angie grew up with her family comfortably and they never wanted more than being happy together. She was loved by everyone and it didn't take much thought before she was nominated as one of the maidens for the King's Bride selection.
Even though she was reluctant at first, she agreed as she found out the king was once her childhood friend who she valued so much. They had met on a very rare occasion but they couldn't stop thinking about each other till they grew older.
Even though the king was so busy with so many things in the kingdom, he couldn't stop praying that his first love appeared at the selection so he could choose her. It was a tradition that the King must select a bride from only those who are nominated.
Angie was so excited about the selection day and was so hopeful that the King will choose her. She was well trained by her parents, every task given to her as one of the bride's candidates was so easy for her to get through with them.
Unknown to Angie, Aurora, one of her fellow candidate got so jealous and too ambitious of becoming the Queen, she plotted against Angie so she could be disqualified. Angie got kidnapped and the selection was put on hold for sometime as they didn't know Angie was actually kidnapped.
On the other hand, the King found out about the kidnapping and he went all out to rescue his Queen. It was a hassle for him and his soldiers but they succeeded and Angie was saved by her King. The two hugged each other so warmly and decided to plot a better plan as a foil to catch the culprit behind her kidnapping.
Angie got back to the Palace and lied about the whole thing to ease the culprit of being caught, Aurora got scared and worried about Angie's return but she tried hard not to show it. As soon as the results came out, it was just Angie and Aurora remaining to be chosen from.
The final selection and wedding day finally came, Aurora knew deep down that she wasn't going to be selected as she had caught the king hugging Angie the night before. Unknown to her, it was a plan between the king and Angie to get her unbalanced and act rashly.
Everything went as planned when a maidservant caught Aurora mixing a drink meant for Angie with a substance in her hand. The king ordered her arrest and she regretted her actions and also confessed to Angie's kidnap. It turned out that Aurora was once a friend of Angie who got more ambitious, she begged for forgiveness.
Angie was so kind hearted that she forgave Aurora and made her work at the Palace close to her. The King and Angie got married and reigned as one of the most kindest and powerful couple that ever lived.
